Revewing chapt 33 BPHS:

1. Argala ( "bolt" or lock or close) - is formed by placement of Graha or house which is placed 2,4,11th from it.

2, Obstructers to Argula - 3rd, 10th and 12th houses with Grahas from house in question.

3. If in the 3rd house (from house in question) there are 3 or more malefics then Vipreeta Argala ( VA) is formed.

 

This VA confers the effects of Argala , and yet has no obstructing house ... this is of great interest to me.

 

Questions

1. Does this infer that the 3rd, 10th and 12th for it ( VA) is now ineffective in causing obstruction no matter what degee the graha in the obstructing house resides ? Same for the 9th from it?

2. Does MORE power then get conferred to VA ?

3. What effect does the VA have in other Divisional charts as the Rasi chart formulates the VA?

4. IF the 3rd houses has 3 malefic and perhaps a 4th graha that is a benefic what then?

5. How does this VA manifest in a person's experices or life. 6. Does the Dasa periods of the 3 malefics residing in the VA play a special role ?

Me to have a question about Viparita Argala.

The Jimini translation in Sinhalese, (what I have) says VA from 3rd can be activate only if there are 3 malefic in 3rd.

My understanding is one or two malefic in 3rd obstructing the subargala from 11th and 3 malefic become subargala and that is why it is viparita Argala.

Could you clear this doubt for us please.
