Or was I wrong in my > assumption? I made it as flexible as I could, in order to promote research. As Sanjay replied, if nth house in rasi has 2 lords and the two lords are not in yuti or samasaptaka in D-n, then D-n Narayana dasa can start from one of the 4 signs. The rules of strength I programmed are not final. I want to let you explore various possibilities. In addition, I wanted to cover variations of Narayana dasa like Padanadamsa dasas and Lagnamsaka dasas etc (Sanjay said he covered these in his book). You can experiment with all these using just the standard Narayana dasa of JHora and by modifying the starting rasi. Another thing: For D-12 Narayana dasa which shows a native's relationship with parents, 12th lord in rasi becomes the seed. To see individual fortunes of mother and father, we need to take the relevant lords in rasi as seeds in D-12. Same holds for D-9, marital life and the fortune of spouse. Just giving one standard D-n Narayana dasa based on nth lord as seed does not cover all these cases. I figured that you could cover all these cases yourself if I gave an option of changing the initial rasi! May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
