IS THERE A VRY IN THE CHART? The lords of Dusthanas are: Saturn and Rahu (3rd, Rahu is stronger by being conjunct Moon); Venus (6th), Moon (8th) and Ketu/Mars (12th). Only Rahu and Moon conjoin in the 4th, and aspect the Lagna, thereby transferring the power to it. So Mercury as AK also strengthens Lagna. Because the conjunction is in a Kendra, the native rises after the downfall or death of a friend or ally, not an enemy. Moon is the Chara Darakarak, and the lord of Upapada, so the person concerned may be the husband. Thus indirectly widowhood is indicated and a consequent rise in the position of the lady, as the VRY strengthens the Lagna. 2. IS WIDOWHOOD INDICATED? Saturn joining the 2nd from Upapada may indicate widowhood. But because Jupiter and Venus aspect, the loss of spouse is not in young age, rather in middle. Also Saturn in the 8th from Lagnamsha Saptama may indicate the same. 3. AT WHAT AGE IS WIDOWHOOD EXPECTED? The Sthira Karaka for spouse is Jupiter. The Rudra for spouse is the Sun. Both conjoin Capricorn, so death of spouse may happen in the Shoola Dashas of earthly signs. The Shoola Dashas begin from Sagittarius, are zodiacal and of 9 years each. The forst Shoola for spouse is Capricorn, but it comes too early. The second one is Taurus, which is aspected by deb. Jupiter and the Sun, and its lord Venus retrograde. This sign is qualified to give death to husband, as the third would come too late and the indications for the husband's longevity are not so good. Also the husband's Rudra, although conjoined by two benefics, one is debilitated and Saturn also aspects, thus death of husband in the 2nd Shoola is indicated. This Shoola Dasa begins at the age of 45 and lasts till 54 years of age of the wife. i.e. between 1995 and 2004. 4. HOW WOULD THE HUSBAND PASS AWAY? The Shoola Dasa of Taurus indicates troubles from quadruoeds as per Parashara, maybe vehicles in modern times. the 3rd from Jupiter/Sun is Pisces, indicating a nice place of death. However, Moon may indicate either choking or bleeding, or damage of feet, Rahu indicates a horrible death, while the aspects of Mars, Ketu and Mercury may indicate death from weapons/injuries, fire hazard and accidents/breakage of bones etc. The Moon conjoining it made the death process relatively quick, and the person was unconscious as there's no influence of Jupiter or Venus.
