Prologue : Today is Full Moon Day - Straw Berry Full Moon ; Roses Full Moon -

This is The Day that all of us should remember SATHI SAAVITHRI , who was

one of three people who met Yama face to face and came out with honors : -

1. Five year old Nachiketha , who was sent away with boons by Yama Himself.

2. Sixteen year old Maarkandeya , who was rescued By Lord Shiva Himself.

3. Newly married Sathi Saavithri Devi , who defied Yama all by herself amd

rescued her husband Sathyavaan from a certain death and was Blessed

by Yama Dharma Raaj.

A. Sun - God of Savithru Mandalam ; Goddess Savitha Devi . As Sun is rising in

the East , Earth is bowing before Sun . Sun is flanked on either side by Agni and

Rudra . As Sun is setting in the West , Earth has turned its back on Sun.

B. East is ruled by Indra ( Zeus ) ;Venus ( Sukra ) is the planet of the East flanked

by Indraani and Indra Maruth.

D. South East - Agni ; Moon flanked by Aapa ( water ) and Gowri

E. South is ruled by Yama Dharma Raaj ; Mars ( Angaaraka ) , Earth & Kshethrapaal.

F. South West - Niruth ; Raahu flanked by Serpent and Cow.

G. West - Varun ( Neptune / Poseidon ) ; Shani flanked by Yama and Prajaapathi.

H. North West - Vaayu Dev ; Kethu flanked by Chithra Guptha and Brahma.

I. North - Kubera ( God Yaksha of Wealth ) ; Guru ( Jupiter ) with Brahma & Indra
