Can you please give me instruction as to what I should do with the

gemstone?

 

Some questions:

When should I recite the mantra?

How many times should I recite the mantra for the gemstone?

What do I do with the gemstone after that?

Is anyone else allowed to touch the gemstone?

1. Soak in raw (farm) milk overnight

2. Put the gemstone by your altar and at nights under your pillow

until you are ready to set in ring.

3. Ring finger to be set in gold (Jupiter)

4. Choose a good day during abhijeet except for Abhijeet on a

Wednesday which has to be avoided. Else, Monday or Thursday, but

especially Monday. Choose good nakshatra, yoga and karana besides the

vaara during abhijeet.

5. Meantime, say the mantra you have uploaded and see what unfolds.

 

For your sphatik which you did not mention, it will pave a much

faster way for you for now, until you can afford to set the ring.

String and knot each bead and chant.

Dear Gurvi,

The presiding deity is Sri Venkateswara. On the next altar to His right is Durga Devi, on the next altar to His left is Sri Krishna.

 

The Temple devotees also worship the Utsava deities of Sri Venkateswara together with His consorts Sri and Bhu Devi. Once a year they take Them out to the streets on a chariot procession where people bring offerings of fruit, sweets and milk to be offered to Their Lordships.

 

The temple is acknowledged by many to be an authentic Vaishnava temple. The priests are usually from India and spend time both in SA and India.

 

As for writing religious programmes... what can I say... Krishna giveth... and Krishna taketh away... May be out of a job come end of march.

BTW, what constitutes the main devata at the Chinna Tirupati Temple? Chhinamasta devi?

 

Sphatik mala was mainly seen on Lord Narayana and Durga Devi. Since you are writing religious programs, you might be able to teach me more.

The Cape being a peninsula, has the fortune of both the cold Atlantic Ocean on the west coast and the warm Indian Ocean on the East coast. The Cape has one of the best beaches in the World with fine white sandy beaches compared to the grainy Durban beaches. The water is much warmer than the Cape though. Incidentally, the Cape Point is generally accepted where the two ocean meets where you can see the difference in the colour of the two oceans, but the oceanographers say its a bit further east at Cape Aghalus being the southern most tip of Africa.

Anyway, im always keen on the bean curry bunny chow and nice veg takeouts and of course Patel's milk sweets (pandas - the best in the world).Best WishesBipin

I will call them up and check.

 

During Ratha Yatra and festival times, they " borrow " someone's cows

for the displays. There is fresh cow dung and cow urine for sale

during the Ratha Yatras, where they also perfom Go Puja to Mother Cow.

 

Luckily though, I live a mere 15min drive from the glorious beach of

the Indian Ocean! (hence i dont want to move to Johannesburg!!!)

 

Hopefully if you come over to Kzn next year, we could have a picnic at

the beach We've got the warm currents, Cape Town has the ice cold

ones!
