Guest guest
Om Brihaspataye NamahDear Bipin, Hare KrishnaYour friend is right. There are cows all over KwaZulu-Natal. Only problem is, in the coastal areas, the cows are owned by those people that live in rural areas- and it is not safe at all to venture into rural areas these days. Otherwise, the dairy farms are located towards the KZN midlands, were there are lush pastures for grazing. The rural people in the midlands are quite friendly.Regarding Sugar cane, that is mostly farmed along the coast. I live in a residential area surrounded by sugar cane farms and a river. My grandparents (fathers side) were sugar cane farmers. They also owned cows. My father, being the only son, decided not to continue his father's inheritance of farming.I'm sure you've heard of the Tongaat-Hulett group? Any guesses why Tongaat is included in their company name? ;)Regards, B--- On Wed, 1/21/09, Bipin Prag <bipinprag wrote:Bipin Prag <bipinpragRe: [Jaya Jagannatha] Instructions on the proper use of the yellow Beryll Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2009, 6:46 PM Om Namo Bhagavate ParamguraveDear Bivash,NamasteI friend was telling me today that your part of the world is famed for many dairy farms and sugar cane fields. You can call your local co-op for the nearest Dairy farm - im sure you can find one in less than 30 min from where you are. You can also contact one of these health stores in Durban North http://www.durban- north.co. za/health- shops.htmlBest WishesBipin 2009/1/21 Swee Chan <swee (AT) coppernet (DOT) zm> Jaya JagannathaDear Bivash,NamasteCall up the Hare Krishna Temple and ask them if you can get some milk through them. Else, sea water when it is full tide and a good day, collect the water. Then rinse off with spring water. Enthused with brahmanic effulgence, Bala asura always prayed by the sea. The same sea where you are whose shores reach Jagannath Puri. love,SweeOn 21 Jan 2009, at 07:11, Bivaash Ramroop wrote: Om Brihaspataye Namah Dear Gurvi,Namaste Looks like I will have to wait for Durban Ratha Yatra in April this year where hopefully I will be able to get some pure(unprocessed) cow products. On the next altar to His right is Durga Devi, on the next altar to His left is Sri Krishna. The Temple devotees also worship the Utsava deities of Sri Venkateswara together with His consorts Sri and Bhu Devi. Once a year they take Them out to the streets on a chariot procession where people bring offerings of fruit, sweets and milk to be offered to Their Lordships. The temple is acknowledged by many to be an authentic Vaishnava temple. The priests are usually from India and spend time both in SA and India. As for writing religious programmes.. . what can I say... Krishna giveth... and Krishna taketh away... May be out of a job come end of march. BTW, what constitutes the main devata at the Chinna Tirupati Temple? Chhinamasta devi?Sphatik mala was mainly seen on Lord Narayana and Durga Devi. Since you are writing religious programs, you might be able to teach me more. love,SweeOn 19 Jan 2009, at 14:49, Bivaash Ramroop wrote: Om Brihaspataye Namah Dear Gurvi,Namaste Thankyou very much for all the information. I really appreciate it. Hopefully I will take the mala and gem soon to the Chinna Tirupathi Temple near where I live. If you have time, could you please indicate which gems can be worn as pendants? Get organic non pasteurised milk, else spring water. 2. Setting muhurta3. pure (100%) white cotton or 100% white silk thread4. yes, you can, including your gemstone. Prana pratishta is best if quest is life long, as deity will now reside in the gemstone itself. love,SweeOn 19 Jan 2009, at 13:22, Bivaash Ramroop wrote: Om Brihaspataye Namah Dear Gurvi,Namaste Thankyou for the assistance. Please could you clarify on my following questions: 1. I only have access to the fresh pastuerised milk sold in stores. Is this still ok?2. Since you said in the meantime to chant the mantra, what is the muhurta for? Soaking the gem or taking the gem to the jeweller or first day of wearing the gem ring? 3. For the mala, what thread should I use?4. Since I dont have access to the ingredients used in purifying the mala (as per your mail sent to your students), can I have it blessed by a priest at a local temple instead? Soak in raw (farm) milk overnight2. Put the gemstone by your altar and at nights under your pillow until you are ready to set in ring. 3. Ring finger to be set in gold (Jupiter)4. Choose a good day during abhijeet except for Abhijeet on a Wednesday which has to be avoided. Else, Monday or Thursday, but especially Monday. Choose good nakshatra, yoga and karana besides the vaara during abhijeet.5. Meantime, say the mantra you have uploaded and see what unfolds. For your sphatik which you did not mention, it will pave a much faster way for you for now, until you can afford to set the ring. String and knot each bead and chant.love,SweeOn 16 Jan 2009, at 09:40, Bivash Ramroop wrote:> Om Brihaspataye Namah>> Dear Gurvi,> Namaste>> Just found out that my package has arrived Will probably pick it up > this weekend.> Thankyou for your help!>> Can you please give me instruction as to what I should do with the> gemstone?>> Some questions:> When should I recite the mantra? > How many times should I recite the mantra for the gemstone?> What do I do with the gemstone after that?> Is anyone else allowed to touch the gemstone?>> Jaya Sita Raama!> Bivash >>> ------------ --------- --------- ------>>
