Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Arnab_ten, Namaste Well, 101% of golden topaz/imperial topaz from Brazil undergoes heat treatment, though I discovered recently that it is not so in Morocco, but they have not commercialised them and are going for cheap. I bought them in the form of eggs. The next best I reckon would be Yellow Beryl. Try and not get the one that has too much brownish overtones if at all. Yellow Beryl is still fairly priced, since it is not considered as one of the five main gemstones. In this regard, the Imperial Topaz is way over the top with pricing. Yellow Beryl falls under the category of the Beryl family with Emerald as the known gem. There’s also Green Beryl as an alternative to Emerald. Since the Emerald is recommended to be worn as a ring on the person whilst performing a shraddha, a rite which is also recommended during the times of eclipses and during the times when a planet is moving in from one sign to the next or when during negative transits (and dasas), the mantras are available in Sanja Rath’s book, “Vedic Remedies in Astrology” otherwise known as VRA. Most of these mantras can be obtained from the Rig Veda. Durign the times of negative influences, it is recommended that after offering mantra, feeding, donations of clothes, gold etc., and a tempory yantra drawn up for the purpose, the gemstone that represents the planet that is causing havoc, should be given away to a knowledgeable brahmana. For example, if it is children one desires, then the gemstone should be donated to a brahmana who has a living wife and whose sons are still living. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Bipin, Hare Krishna You may get the gist from Padma Purana from both Sun and Mars. My intention is not to change recommendations for gemstones that are to be given away. The maharatnas so known as the ones recommended including a host of other items. Parasara’s mantras and donations are similar to those as described in the Padma Purana, whilst Yagnavalkya recommendations are very different. You should akin this to remedy and alleviate on the soul level, since secrets were revealed to him by the Sun (soul) after purging knowledge that was taught to him by his Guru. Yagnas are offered internally (Rg Veda) and externally via way of donations (material). Away until August, so try and answer questions posed on this list.
