Ravindramani ji,

Your post invoked this thought and question hence I am writing to you without

quoting the post you cross-posted from some Malaysian forum (right?).

While the contents were interesting the lining up of three eclipses caught my

fancy.

Eclipses are special Poornimas and Amavasyaas if you think of it for a moment!

Only Poornima suffers from the loss of 'Light' that one would normally expect

while Amavasya when it coincides with eclipse would intensify in its darkness?

Or would it for it is dark anyway?

Now I am not an astronomer, astrophysicist or astronaut or astro-knot or

astro-naught but it seems that when three eclipses line up, there is a

'steadying' of sorts going on and moon, sun and nodes have decided to stay the

course and not dance in and out of tune wildly! Does that make sense?

Now when celestial indicators stay on course for some time, as in not wavering

too much from the 'path' is that a sign of impending cosmic unpredictability and

chaos as some expect or does it simply indicate that the cosmic indicators have

decided to become focused, steady and to stay on course and the chaos will be

reduced?

Please understand that this is not a prediction but a sincere question to all

members? Are the lights and their nodes getting 'tamed' and focuses as opposed

to all the recent chaotic stuff we have seen around the globe?

Let us just watch expectantly and see how the celestial drama evolves.

Sir,

You raised certain important issues. I understand this. You have given an

answer too. “Let us just watch expectantly and see how the celestial drama

evolves.†Hence I prefer to wait for another eclipse to take place which is

due shortly, 6th of August 2009.

I am also eagerly waiting for any chart or discussion on an issue which you

raised in another thread in regard to combust planet.

Once I asked my grand father, “Why are you insisting me to be indoors and

pray God while an eclipse takes place His curt reply was your Jupiter is

retrograde and asking all kind of silly questions. It was quite long ago.

I asked one of my teachers the same question with an addition, that if

Jupiter is retrograde at the time of my birth, it is the problem for Jupiter

and what is the role for me in this, his reply was “your Jupiter is with

Rahu, I doubt you can learn astrology at all and you are wasting your timeâ€.

Sir, there are issues and issues and issues…..and no satisfactory replies.

Regards, C.S. Ravindramani.

Dear Ravindramani ji,

With due respects, why would retrograde jupiter would raise 'silly' questions,

particularly if such a jupiter is " reviewing " the rest of the zodiacal set?

Don't benefics that are retrograde get stronger due to chesta-bal? Maybe the

chesta bal gets expressed (when other things are in order) to make them ask

questions that distrub the peaceful pond resting in status quo! ;-)

Keep stirring -- remember the Ksheer-sagara manthan! I had posted once the role

of Vasuki in that massive Tsunami created by the Devas and Danavas stirring the

milky way and look at all the nectar and poison that brought forth!

You are doing fine, just keep at it!

Sir

The dialogue between Adi Sankaracharya and Lord Shiva in the guise of Chandala

is known to us. Is there a connection between this and Astrology?

You asked my views. Yes Madam, it has.

Saint Thyagaraja realized the " Self " through music and Rama Bakthi alone.

Someone has realized the " Self " through a black buffalo alone.

In my view, one cannot separate " Self " from Astrology if you pursue astrology,

the essence of astrology leads to realization of " Self " . Here there is no Guru

and no Chandala. Here is neither a teacher nor a disciple.

Regards, C.S. Ravindramani
