Guest guest
Dear Raja: Thank you for posting a question. Here is my experience on the subject. The transit of Sun through its own sign will be positive, especially for those houses containing the sign of Leo. As for the mutual impact between Sun and Saturn, this impact will only be applicable when they are within five degrees of each other. When they are outside the orb of five degrees from each other, there will be no noticeable impact. Moreover..... For those rising signs where Saturn is a malefic, (Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces), Saturn will cause harm to the significations of Sun and the house containing the sign of Leo. For those rising signs where Sun is a malefic, (Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces), Sun will cause harm to the significations of Saturn and the house containing the sign of Aquarius. There will be no problem for the other rising signs where Sun and Saturn are benefic planets. Guest guest
Sir It is incorrect to say Sun+Sat conjunction is bad. This is not a new phenomenon. Every year Sun and Saturn are conjunct for 30 days. Guest guest
||Jai Ramakrishna|| Dear Mr.Hawthorne, Thank you for the reply. It seems that for Virgo & Pisces, Saturn & Sun are functional malefics. What do you think the possible results of the conjunction?Extremely bad??or Good through problems? Guest guest
Dear Gaurav: Thank you for your kind reply. During the close conjunction of Sun and Saturn (only when they are within five degrees or less of each other), their general significations (heart, father, authority figures, physical structure, patience, etc.) and the significations of the houses where Leo and Aquarius are placed in the chart (twelfth and sixth houses), will be vulnerable to losses, separations, relocation, (twelfth house), and debts, disputes, and health issues, (sixth house) for the Virgo and Pisces rising signs. The duration of the impact will subside as the two planets begin to separate from each other. Guest guest
Dear Raja, I realize that this has been the Generally Recognized As Satya principle that due to the illegitimacy involved sun and saturn when they end up close to one another in a horoscope point towards a 'conflict' or at least difficult situation between the native and his or her father and it has been anecdotally been observed as one of those 'clinchers' that serving jyotish brings to us from time to time! But it is also based on stories and illustrations as passed on in the parallel scriptural literature. I am not questioning the scriptures but I am asking the astrologers who have been claiming that Astrology is Science and Logical, the astroLOGICAL basis for same? FACTS that all jyotishis encounter daily, year after year: = Leo is ruled by Sun and saturn rules the 6th and 7th therefrom = Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and sun rules the 8th therefrom = Aquarius is ruled 'often' by Saturn and sun rules the 7th therefrom I realize that your question was about transits and this posting was to remind us that we have two possibilities to ponder upon: Sun and Saturn as ancient tales and accounts describe for us and the somewhat different perspective that deals with astrological spread that is less esoteric and must be considered if Astrology is a Science and Logical! Just a thought!
