Guest guest
Pradeep, Date stamps, time stamps, article contents -everything has been mucked around so many times to suit the event and happenings. As you may be aware -this is a trend / hallmark of his predicive articles. He is a professional astrologer looking to make money, I doubt if he cares for truth at all. But it brings bad name to the Vidya itself and other honest astrologers. And astrology is a unregulated business in this modern age so it is bound to attract money makers. In a related topic... It is the same with other astrologers who run behind fame, name and money. There is this other astrologer who claims that one of his clients is a $20 billion guy. Apparently, this billionare consults him to invest in a $100 million project. When I told him according to Forbes list there are only 5/6 people with that much money in the world, he has no reply. These are same kind of people who run behind money, name, fame, change birth times by 10, 15, 20 minutes without any hesitation, claim that they have seen 1000s of charts etc, even though they started astrology 7/8 years back. Of course to promote his style, he abuses and accuses other vedic astrologers. In addition, they are proud of their many legal and illeagal love affairs in personal life. I am not surprised that these things are happening in this internet age. But there is a yoga karaka period (dasa or bhukti) for everybody to go through in their lifetime, when the KALACHAKRA comes back to teach the lessons. Guest guest
Manjunath Yes Astrologers are not certified by any organisation/Body. Thus anybody who claims to be an astrologer is an astrologer in the eyes of public. In other words we cannot blame those common crowd, who rates all astrologers as frauds. Astrologers who are looking for new clients and more money have to give publicity regarding their ''success''. However whether this can lead to real ''satisfaction'' or not needs to be understood by the astrologers who are trying to play dirty. We MAY NOT bring bad name and reputation for the very shastra which has given us fame. This will be a great Ninda. It is human to Err.Let those who are involved in such acts reconsider. Guest guest
Dear Manjunath, Manoj and list I think it's sad when this kind of trickery is practised in the name of jyotish. It happens in all areas though including medicine and other strictly regulated professions. In my own area I recently came across someone who is calling himself an 'expert' vedic astrologer when he has little command of jyotish and has only just undertaken a basic course in the subject, and says he does tarot readings as well, compounding problems the rest of us face. I also have to 'battle' with people believing that astrologers are merely tarot card readers, so for me half the battle is educating people as to what an astrologer actually does. What makes the task harder is when people call themselves astrologers and then deliver a tarot reading. I turn away many people every week who only want tarot readings, but hopefully give them food for thought after I have explained the difference between that and astrology. I know it's hard for the rest of us who are more diligent in our attempts to be worthy astrologers, but I have faith that the right people who really will benefit from a proper astrology reading will come my way. I doubt regulation would sort it out. In the UK even the big Astrological Association has alienated astrologers due to its league with a big insurance company. It is attempting to regulate via insurers who insist you can't have insurance if you don't have certain types of qualifications. Sadly I know people who have some of the qualifications they demand, but who state quite categorically they still don't know how to predict or read charts using the system they have qualified in. So there are pitfalls in demanding regulation too. There are many associations also, which purportedly add credibility to an astrological practice, but these are run by self appointed experts. Not only that I was recently amused by one astro group, keen to regulate, who are appalled that some astrologers in this country are prescribing yagyas and mantra and amulets as part of their delivery of astrology....................jiggery pokery they call it..................but then they only do western astrology........though they do have a very high profile astrologer as their president. Regulation is fraught with pitfalls, which is why I think it will only increase the problems faced by genuine astrologers, though I could be wrong. best wishes M - Manoj Kumar Friday, September 18, 2009 7:11 AM Re: Re: Federer and prediction - Request Dear Manjunath ji, If possible, kindly send me all the predictions that he made and then changed on his website. regards, Mouji --- On Fri, 9/18/09, Vijayadas <vijayadas_pradeep wrote: Vijayadas <vijayadas_pradeep Re: Federer and prediction - Request Friday, September 18, 2009, 12:17 AM Manjunath Yes Astrologers are not certified by any organisation/ Body. Guest guest
Manoj-ji I have documented some (saved pdf files , before and after). Some, I have highlighted here in the . Lately, I am not saving pdf's, by now most of us know that he (the chennai astrologer) changes his predictions after the event, if it does not come true. The ones that come true - of course he flashes that on his website. The root cause obviously is to get more traffic, make money, fame and name. In the journal of astrology website, Sri KN Rao-ji was offering his book for sale. Ever after knowing knowing this, should he still offer the book? Please convey this message to Guruji. It is like partaking the sins of somebody's bad karma..right. I will send the pdf's to your account from my gmail... Guest guest
Hi I agree that some pseudo psychics are interested in fame and wealth, I also believe quite firmly that people get the astrologers they deserve, and if they are meant to get a good astrologer and benefit from the reading then they do, and their chart says that they will......I constantly see this happening in the charts I read and am assured it works this way, so not to worry, the universe is greater than it's parts! best wishes M - chitra2pada Friday, September 18, 2009 3:06 PM Re: Federer and prediction - Request Margaret You make very good points. How the prediction that changed, with time stamp being same, date stamp is also same. So to claim what you are claiming is of no use. I will substantiate with proof. There are others who have also collected proof. > when i tried communicating this individual he does even bother to write on the issue > I am pretty sure, there is no email from you, other the one that you sent me couple days back, the same one as this, but I am replying in the , so that there is transparency and accountability. > he writes me saying i have not ordered product or refuse to send his number for communication > Baseless stuff...Why would I order a product from you. I will encouraging a website that is known...You have my email and name, where I live. Why do you need my number? check all old messages and reply to each and evey one. I challenge you to be truthful and honest. > any prediction which is does not appear correct is put in archives . > > for example prediction on us open 2009 ladies single final, ladies doubles final , federer entering final were all correct. Your prediction was that Federer would win US open as Sun was transiting his lagna. You or your website author or somebody changed the article /prediction next day. I have sent mail to the list detailing what happened. You can read those and respond to each and every mail that I sent (go back to May/June/July messages also). > most of the time one or two failed prediction is taken high lighted and blown out of proportion. There is a pattern here that is observed by me and others. Please see old messages in this list. People are not fools here, we know astrology to the extent that we can understand, when one changes the prediction after the event. > since it is web site all lies are propgated and they can not stomach number of predictions which has come true. > bye > gopalakrishnan > astrologer > sathyaprema.com > > > - In , " Marg " <margie9@> wrote: > > > > Hi > > I agree that some pseudo psychics are interested in fame and wealth, I also believe quite firmly that people get the astrologers they deserve, and if they are meant to get a good astrologer and benefit from the reading then they do, and their chart says that they will......I constantly see this happening in the charts I read and am assured it works this way, so not to worry, the universe is greater than it's parts! > > best wishes > > M > > - > > chitra2pada > > > > Friday, September 18, 2009 3:06 PM > > Re: Federer and prediction - Request > > > > > > Margaret > > You make very good points.
