Guest guest
Gopal Sir and Other learned members On June 12, 2009 Iran presidential election took place. See details here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_presidential_election,_2009 Please see reference #3 to see when the election results was known (trend in the results) http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2009/06/2009612195749149733.html The time the article was written was at (Title: Ahmadinejad 'set for Iran victory') UPDATED ON: Saturday, June 13, 2009 11:35 Mecca time, 08:35 GMT Now let me do some simple math (correct me if I am wrong) 8:35 GMT + 5:30 = IST that is 13.65 or 14.05 (2.05pm IST) Anybody reading this article will know that Ahmadinejad is set for victory based on trends. If a website / astrologer puts out a prediction saying that Admadinejad will win second term on June 13, the day elections results are being released, does it make sense? Assume it is fine (benefit of doubt), what about the following case? Say the website releases a prediction at 2:58pm IST. Does it make sense? Is there any logical sense to such predictions, after the event is known in newspapers and TV? The event was known to people who might have followed news at 2.05pm IST http://www.sathyaprema.com/iran_president_2009.htm Please see the time stamp it is 2:58pm. A common man cannot do this analysis, but somebody following the mundane predictions can do this math and can figure out. For argument sake, say I made an error in time calculations, as I failed in math during my second Pre University. Is there any meaning in calling something as a prediction when the election results are being released? Does it not bring harm and bad name to astrologers all over the world?
