history of internet mundane astrology.

 

we are in new era as far astrology is concered from the year 2000 on wards. So

in that sense we are new era of the astrology . like Alvin Toffler calls it wave

shift has happened. We are living between two world of astrology, the old

structures ways of reaching to astrologer is dead. The new wave of structures

are still forming.

the number of soft wares, number of people who use astrology, the number ways of

astrology is available  to people is so huge. for example event management

company wants astrologer these days.

 

soft wares- we have free soft ware which can calculate any parameter in

astrology with in seconds. one can make birth recification very fast.

 

this was not possible even 10 years ago.

 

number of aveunes available are so huge- for example any can put web site and

post the predictions. they can do it in blog or groups.

 

add to this television, local papers and english papers, number of television

channels.

 

the auidence reach for astrology awareness , usage is so big expanded

exponteially. In short period of time many millions of people would have come in

the fold. I have people from france or far that matter Africa who wants

predictions.

 

of course we have in jyotish list and many list globally many people dicuss or

abuse( joking) depending on the mood. this was not possible even 10 years ago.

 

we have expanded audienence reach n times which is very diffcult even to

quanitfy

 

so mundane astrology in that sense has become global from local. from single

area to muliple areas.

mundane astrology predictions was done only for the politcial event which is

what bv raman in his monthly magazine set the trend

 

b v raman wrote on second world war and made a huge impact . because it was

hindu who was publishing. he was the only astrologer no compeitition and he was

student of b a history.

 

then mr k n rao and gayatri dev vasudev daughter of b v  raman use to write

 

from 2001 every thing changed. content for mundane astrology predictions was so

huge .

 

people wanted predictions on

politcial events not only in india  , but on america germany united kingdom or

even for that matter canada or austrillia. even i was baffled. they will call or

send a email with regard to politcial events .

 

sports expanded from just cricket to tennis to football to golf  to motor

racing.

 

now add to it boxing chess and billards.

 

sports predictions are not written regulary by mr k n rao . he writes once a

while. he is very good astrologer  no doubt on that.

 

for example any sports event people want to know the predictions.

 

people trade on stock market and want prediction on that. i have never seen in

any old books technqiues given for stock markets. even the commodity market has

under gone sea change from local to global. during the time of hardeo sharma

trivedi times it would been local factors which could have deterimined the price

of commodity. now the global factors. i have people who want predictions on

singapore exchange dax or even for that matter nikkei.

 

from price of crude to metals to vegetables to price of house people want

gudiance in every things which sells.

 

so first of all to fulfill this demand itself is so tough

 

today many sites has dedicated astrologer who write on mundane astrology

predictions

 

even the star teller magazine  has improved the out put and quality.

 

many people are toying with every day stock market predictions which according

to me is good attempt.whether they are accurate or not.

 

one need to have very good knowlegde on so many subjects in depth to make good

predictions.

 

any way people write on vemuri shastri , hardeo sharma trivedi and surya naryana

vyas. i have respect for them. in the modern context it is very tough to predict

on mundane astrology. they would also floundered and armour chincked.

 

 

 

people say if hardeo sharma trivedi was alive he would predicted every event. i

really doubt. the old giants who were writing once a while would have found them

it the same quandry like many astrologer of today. these days a good predictions

is not even remembered for days. in eariler time you can make predictions and

talk about it for number of months some times years. The need for accuracy

clarity would be very tough. Even gayatri dev vasudev donot predict on sports or

far that matter commodity or stock markets

 

now days the availablity oppurnuity for astrologer is so huge. print, web sites,

television channel plus these days mobile phone are making attempts on astrology

predictions.

 

in astrology if you make good predictions no one even writes a appreciation

letter.

 

if u make a wrong predictions they pounce upon you.

 

the problem is like movie making. even with out knowing how to make movies one

can critsise. in the same way whether you make predictions or not one can put

down astrologers.

 

many people are not aware that it www.sify.com which set the trend on the

mundane astrology predictions. the year was 2002 i was sitting in the office of

sify and spoke to mr kennedi on the need for mundane astrology. he said since

you are writing the weekly tarot predictions i will take care of that. he saw my

2002 yearly predictions and was quite impressed.

 

of course mr k.n. rao use to write the predictions on rediff.com and secondly he

also use to put some predictions on the web site. the number of articles in the

mundane astrology was far and few.

 

the feature on sify was i have write 3 article and one article should be in

predictive nature. slowly the trend picked up were almost all the article turned

out on predictions.

 

one of the first prediction which was bang on dot was the afghan war.

tehelka.com had intereviewed. in that i had said it would be short war and usa

would win. even in this list i had written. there was so much of debate how the

afghans  would resist the mighty usa.

 

the second one was on the iraq war which was predicted on sep 2002 . mr kennedi

was to an extent skeptical. when the prediction came true in march 2003  it

rang bell in sify sales. the volume of sales just shot up miraculosly

...

it was commerce the mother of all growth on these areas. sify.com paid me for

number of years for these predictions. when ever predictions came right the

volume of sales went up. it helped web site to grow in terms of hits and many

astrologer could be accommodated because the demand grew exponentially.

 

of course sify.com which allowed me to  design  many products in astrology

which got copied all the web sites which exist today . the format style tone

content was set by me in sify.com.

in fact it was kennedi who made the single question format. i made many product

like muliple question annual horoscope tranist predictions and price band was

fixed by me.

 

even today twitter or face book found making money very diffcult . astrology

converting in to commerce was done by 2002 itself. what a massive contribution

to world of astrology.

 

today a man who is good in astrology can make a living out of it with out back

ground.

 

one of the major problems with the local astrologer who relied on pariharam got

wiped out. a client will say that he wants predictions and do want the

predictions. the growth of eltist multinational clients grew which made many

quacks wiped out. we found in sify some so called local greats were never able

to consistenly rise to demands of the internet.

 

learning to predict instead of talking astrology analysis was important.

 

 

 

We can use debit card plastic money or even for that matter we can talk to the

international  client over the phone internet e mail web cam and get paid.

 

Technology like cellular phones, flexibility in payment system in banking

industry  , web cam are increasing the volume and number of people in to

astrology

 

Of course all these pose tough questions and challenging moment. Astrology is

only area were the west recognizes the greatness. Margaret Thatcher once told on

Indian astrologer they are very good . they can come with some astonishing

predictions.

 

One foreign astrologer who learnt astrology from me told “we donot predict

gopal we feel we can not what a mind block we have. We believe in counseling and

allow clients to do psychic puckingâ€.

 

Indian systems of arts have always learnt to intergrate  the technology very

successfully many eras. This also has happened. Of course we can look back at

this era and say that we did a good job.

 

One client from Canada called up and said you know there is new soft ware on

currency trading.

 

I told him that great rishis have invented the model in astrology which is

holistic , comprehensive all encompassing. The west is struggling with models.

Unless they use the cycles of sun moon there method of calculation are bound to

be faulty and needs constant improvement and increment in fundamentals.

 

The same answers  I  have given to people who were Wharton ex graduate. If I

predict better than meryl lynch or Lehman brothers or gold man sachs guys or

talk there language gain respect audience and awe  because of genius of

parashara and blessing of my guru kirties who said that saints runs the world. I

still bow down to there  holy feet.  

 

 

One day western people will accept that stock market best way to predict is

through Indian astrology and may be who knows some one will get noble prize in

economics based on astrology research. At least in this area we are not mental

slaves to the western ideology and proud of our traditions.. Dreams do come

true. What was today reality was yesterday dream of some one.
