Dear friends,

AKK is telling you that my mentor had told me about the Rashi mantra in Vedanga

Jyotisha but he should have been bold to tell you who is that mentor he is

referring to. Everyday we learn new things and all of us have innumerable

mentors that way and AKK cannot say he did not have any mentor. Of course he has

the famous mentors like David Pingree, whose satements are gospel truths for

him. Both AKK and I overlooked the mention of Rashi in the Vedanga Jyotisha and

I frankly acknowledged it when Sreenadhji pointed that out. AKK does not admit

that he did not know about the Rashi mantra as if he had known that  he would

have himself admitted that there is a Rashi mantra, which he does not think to

be genuine  owing to such and such reasons. So all including AKK have Sreenadhji

as mentor as the credit goes to Sreenadhji for pointing that out to us. After

that quite some discussions were there on this topic and Sreenadhji had not

participated. In the

present mail AKK is just repeating what he had been writing several times in

his mails and there is no new information in his this mail. I am sure he will go

on repeating this endlessly. If anybody is interested as to what my reply has

been then he or she may look up my replies in the archives.

I believe in Lord Ram and lately I am seeing that AKK also believes in Lord Ram

and I am leaving it to Lord Ram to see to it that the truth prevails, even if

either me or AKK has to be sacrificed.

Regards,

Sunil K. Bhattacharjya
