Dear Friends,

Saturn is known as Sanaischara(samskrit-slow mover) in Hindu Mythology.

Sani Bhagawan or Sanaschara is the offspring of Surya(Sryaputra) and

Chaya(Chaya Martanda Sambhootam). Chaya was the shadow left behind by

Suvarchala, the consort of Surya Bhagawan. Sani is the elder brother of

Yama(Yamagrajam). The vahanam of Sani is Kaka ( Crow) and not Vulutre as

stated by the learned AKK. Yama`s vehicle is Buffalow and not Vulture.
