Dear friends,

Though Jyotirved appears to be sitting on the fence and does not want to say

whether he agrees with Pingree's view or not, it is known from his past mails

that he never contradicted Pingrean chronology, which in fact is the Max

Mullerian chronology of ancient Indian history based on the AIT (Aryan Invasion

Theory). Pingree has shown that he goes by the AIT chronology and he takes

Chandragupta Maurya to be a contemporary of Alexander. How sad for all of us,

who value facts?

Regards,

Sunil K. Bhattacharjya
