BREEDS OF HORSES !

In Ramayana, Mahabharata, Purans and Brahmnas, there is mention of Breed of

Horses and they enunciated that Kambojian horses use to be best, means they

have talked about Breeds of Horses. If some body talks of Breeds what does that

mean, it means that already there were many type of Horses.

 

Even Jaina Canon, Budhist-Texts have also talked of many Breed of Horses and

they also mentioned about Kamboja Horses to be the best.

 

But some ppl say that Horses were introduced to India in 1500 BCE.

 

Kamboja is the place from where ppl say Horses would have been imported and then

India would have got to know about it.

 

If there was only one Breed of horses which was introduced through North-West of

Afganistan then why they would have talked of Breeds of horses in Scriptures ??

Ha Ha Ha Ha…

 

Now one may think about the theories introduced by Michael Witzel and Romila

Thapar and one of them has got KLUGE AWARD from CHRISTIANS.

 

Both of them say that they would have come with Chariot to Bharat, first thing

how chariot may travel through mountains second thing how Horse would have

traveled the SEA. In Vedic days Sapta Sindhu were having mighty rivers and those

have been sometimes mentioned as SEA.

 

One striking thing is, Sanskrit speakers themselves are saying that Kambojians

used to have best breed of horses, if Sanskrit speakers also came through

Kamboja on the Horses in Sapta sindhu part then why they would have talked of

Kambojian horses. Ha Ha Ha Ha…

 

In MBH it is also mentioned that Arjuna many times devastated area of Kambojians

and Gandharvans(Gandharvas were also sadi to posses best horses) and later they

became friend of him and gifted him many horses but I think before getting gift

Arjuna would have went there to fight with them on tortoise…. Ha Ha Ha Ha

Ha…

 

Even Abhimanyu also devastated Kamojian and Gandharva places as mentioned in MBH

and other texts.
