Qn:  Guruji, Is there possibility to find in a birth chart that a native could

have more than one marriage in life, as diverse between married couples are in

rampant? This happens even after careful analysis of Charts at the time of

marriage…Revati.

 

Ans: Yes.  Many combinations in a birth chart should be checked to find one

will have more than one marriage. The listed combinations as below, could be

primary pointers of a marriage being destroyed, by one of the native’s own

death to cause a second marriage to the spouse, one of these two spouses to have

extra-marital affairs, or relationship in the run of marital life (reasons need

not necessarily be the absolute cause), of due to sickness of either of them, as

this is not who gets the extra- marital affair or relationship, but how the

affliction can damage marital fidelity and peace of marital life for either of

them.

 

The important step, while matching charts, the Astrologer must look for factors

that show more than one marriage in a birth chart. It could also indicate

extra-marital flings and liaisons, which could disqualify either of charts in

the first place, while matching. Yogas (combination of planetary influences as a

pack) for more than one marriage are to be carefully looked into before

disqualifying the chart.

 

The following factors could point to show in a chart more than one marriage:

(1)     If the Lagna Lord and the 7th Lord as well as Karaka Venus occupy

dual signs;

(2)    The 7th Lord afflicted by malefic/s and in a malefic sign or

debilitated and if  Mercury or Saturn in the 7th house  from Lagna;

(3)    If Venus occupies a common sign (Mithun, Kanya, Dhanush, or Meena) and

the ruler of this sign occupies his exaltation sign and the 7th Lord is weak by

occupation;

(4)    If Mars, Venus and Saturn occupy the 7th house, and the Lagna lord be

in 8th House from Lagna;

(5)    When 7th Lord is combust (near Sun) in any  house, debilitated

(without being in parameters for cancellation) or Very weak in an inimical sign;

(6)    If the 8th Lord from Lagna be in the 1st or the 7th house.  Mars as

8th Lord in 7th house can show more than one marriage. 7th Lord Jupiter in 8th

also indicates the short lived married life;

(7)    If three or more malefic occupy the 7th house;

(8)    If the 1st, 2nd and 6th Lords conjoined with malefic/s and occupy the

7th house from Lagna ( this needs elaborate explanation for easy understanding);

(9)    If 3 or more malefic Planets occupy the 7th house;

(10)If the 7th Lord be weak and 7th house be in aspect by or conjoined by a

malefic

(11)If the 2nd Lord be in the 6th and if a malefic occupies the 7th;

(12)If the 2nd and 12th Lords be in the 3rd and be aspected by the 9th Lord or

Jupiter;

 

These are few and many more combinations form as the pointers for more than one

marriage or extra-marital associations.

 

These combinations apply equally well both male and female charts and show more

than one marriage, not saved by exonerating factors.

 

A Chart can indicate that the first marriage may not necessarily imply

profligacy or extra marital associations. The point in such cases is not who

gets into an extra-marital affair or relationship, but how the affliction can

damage marital fidelity and peace. The purpose of tracing these in a chart

before ‘marriage match’ is to avoid it than get caught in unhappy marital

complications.

 

Our Hindu (Indian) society is blessed with these implying ‘conditions’ in

reading a chart before marriage, and points to the ‘after effects’ for

prospects involving in love marriage, while marriage match is not resorted to

carefully.

 

All these combinations have to be carefully assessed by a dedicated Astrologer

before concluding the chart has more than one marriage. Where such a combination

is present and there is favorable aspect of Jupiter, the Lagna Lord, or the sign

depositor, then in such a case the combination gets checked and disallow more

than one spouse.

 

As a general rule, the 7th house from Lagna or the Moon conjoined with or in

aspect of a benefic or the Lord of that sign give fidelity, stability and peace

while it removes the possibility of break up a marriage.
