Dear All

It was interesting to read the different views about Rahu - Swarbhanu. As

Inderjit ji and Ranjan Ji has recently corresponded, it is an auspiscous

ocassion - Vasant Navarthri and with Durga Devis blessings we may underdtsnd the

true nature of time.

Contemplating on the name SwarBhanu itslef can lead us to understand who Rahu

is.

It will be foolish from our side to think that Mahavishnu cannot send his chakra

before Swarbhanu could sip the Amrit. There is nothing beyond the perception of

Lord in Mohini form. Lord wanted Sun and Moon to realize about something. It is

upto us to contemplate and meditate on who Sun, Moon and Rahu-Ketu are. A Full

understanding(total identification - experiencing the eclipse process) will be

equivalent to realization. Why is Sun and Moon scared and of what. Of whom are

we scared of. Why are we scared of some reality which we need to face ?

The symbol of Rahu can be found as an arch surrounding each and every idol of

Hindu temple.

In Hindu astrology, the signs have a specific meaning. Vrishabha taking the

place of 2nd house is not an accident. It has the Kanta or throat of Lord

Shankara, the origin of the uttered word or Vaak. Vrishabha is also Bull and one

can see the throat of Bull. Vrishabha is also his Dhwaja. Neela Kanta is

drinking the poison. What is this poison.

Later on the Sarpa is adorning the lord's(Yogi) throat as an aabharana or

ornament. Jaddha the locked hair has also a meaning.

Simhika the Lioness power is the original power (shakthi) underlying and

preceding the self or manifestation of Sun. The Neela Kaal shakthi.

Numerous studies have been done on these by scholars and i will share what all i

have understood regarding the Mahakala during the next days. I will also share

whatever little i have understood about the churning process and the related

mythology.

Namo Namaha Shankara Parvatheesha !
