For them (us!), he specifically recommended combining the dasa/antardasa/pratyantardasa pravesha chakra of Sudarsana Chakra dasa with ashtakavarga. That combination is what he specifically recommended for us for annual/monthly/daily readings. Note that Tajaka annual/monthly/2.5-day chart is essentially dasa/antardasa/pratyantardasa pravesha chakra of Sudarsana Chakra dasa! * * * So ashtakavarga IS applicable with Tajaka charts. In fact, there MUST be some method of using ashtakavarga to judge the interaction between Tajaka charts and natal charts to make good annual/monthly/2.5-day predictions. * * * However, I am afraid that some of the pieces in the puzzle have been corrupted by now. After all, how can Mother allow what according to Parasara is *relatively infallible* knowledge to fall into the hands of astrologers interested in money, fame and power? If one wants to get a good grasp on really sensitive knowledge of rishis, practicing some spiritual discipline and overcoming desire for money, fame etc is IMHO the first step.
