Dear Narasimha,

Thank you for this information. It somehow opens up my understanding, and chart

becomes much more revealing, with just one piece of info, the sign of AK in

various divisional chart- and now when we add intensity of aspects, even more

so.

You also said: " Just like physical Sun is a physical point in this zodiac,

" navamsa Sun " and " dasamsa Sun " are *abstract* points in the very same zodiac,

placed at different points of the same zodiac-

I am wondering if those *abstract* points get affected by transit ?

You also say 'same zodiac'... Would you pls comment on this?

Thanks.

Namaste Praveen ji,

You are absolutely right - one cannot ignore lagna and take karakamsa in a

vacuum, though we may focus on one parameter at a time for the ease of learning.

> Shri K.N.Rao takes Karakamsha as the sign occupied by AK in Navamsa and uses

> it in Rasi.

That can be done too. I want to make one fundamental point today.

* * *

Parasara did not say that there is a rasi *chart*, a navamsa *chart*, a dasamsa

*chart* and so on. WE created them for convenience. Parasara only defined

" navamsa Sun " , " navamsa Moon " , " navamsa Mars " etc, " navamsa Sun " , " navamsa

Moon " , " navamsa Mars " etc and so on.

Physical Sun may be at 25Ar00. " navamsa Sun " may be at 15Sc00. " dasamsa Sun " may

be at 10Sg00. It is not that Sc occupied by " navamsa Sun " and Sg occupied by

" dasamsa Sun " are in some other zodiacs. There is only one zodiac, only one Ar,

only one Ta and so on. Just like physical Sun is a physical point in this

zodiac, " navamsa Sun " and " dasamsa Sun " are *abstract* points in the very same

zodiac, placed at different points of the same zodiac.

* * *

One can make a master chart plotting physical Sun, physical Moon, physical Mars

etc, " navamsa Sun " , " navamsa Moon " , " navamsa Mars " etc, " dasamsa Sun " , " dasamsa

Moon " , " dasamsa Mars " etc, ALL in the same chart. However, that would be too

crowded and confusing. So, for convenience, we collect all navamsa planets (and

lagna) in one chart, we collect all dasamsa planets (and lagna) in one chart,

and so on.

* * *

However, it does not mean that interaction between " navamsa Sun " and " dasamsa

Mercury " , for example, cannot be analyzed! Even though we represent them in

different charts, they exist it in the same zodiac and can interact. Let me

illustrate using simple examples.

For example, take Swami Vivekananda. His AmK (sense of purpose in life) Moon is

in 24Li18 in D-10 (work in the society). If you look for close aspects on him

from various vimsamsa planets, you will see that the highest aspect is from

vimsamsa Jupiter. Jupiter in D-20 at 20Ge25 has a 93.52% aspect on Moon in D-10

at 24Li18 (JHora 7.4 can be used for quantifying aspects based on Parasara's

teachings). Jupiter is the 3rd lord in D-20 and shows communications related to

spiritual matters. Thus, the sense of purpose in his work is influenced by his

ability to communicate spiritual matters.

Take Adolf Hitler. His AmK (sense of purpose in life) Mars is at 0Sg59 in D-10.

The highest aspect on him from trimsamsas planets is from trimsamsas Mars. Mars

in D-30 at 2Ge56 has 93.47% aspect on Mars in D-10 at 0Sg59. Mars in D-30 (chart

of evils) is the lagna lord in 3rd house showing aggressive and bold acts. His

sense of purpose in his work was influenced by bold and aggressive evils.

Take George Bush. His PK (sense of self-importance and following) is at 17Le11

in D-10. He has 97.88% aspect from Mars in D-12 at 14Aq39 and 92.55% aspect from

Sun in D-12 at 8Aq15. In D-12, Sun is the 9th lord and shows father. Mars is the

9th lord from the 9th house and shows father's fortune. His sense of

self-importance and following in career was influenced by his father and his

father's fortune.

Take Rajiv Gandhi. His PK (sense of self-importance and following) is at 22Li08

in D-10. He has 68.45% aspect from Mercury in D-12 at 12Cn23 and 66.88% aspect

from Venus in D-12 at 14Pi16. In D-12, Moon is stronger than lagna. The 4th lord

from Moon is Venus and shows mother. Mercury is is the 5th lord of power from

the 4th house from Moon. His sense of self-importance and following in career

was influenced by his mother and her power.

Take Dr B.V. Raman. His AmK (sense of purpose) Sun is at 11Cp46 in D-24 (chart

of knowledge). He has 99.69% aspect from Saturn at 11Ar24 in D-10. Saturn is the

9th and 10th lord in D-10. His sense of purpose in knowledge had a connection

with the work he did (10th) and dharma he upheld (9th) in his career (D-10).

* * *

What I am talking about is in the same spirit as concepts such as rasi tylya

navamsa and navamsa tulya rasi. Very close interactions between a planet in one

division and a planet in another division cannot be ignored and they mean

something.

Best regards,

Narasimha

Namaste Praveen ji,

You are absolutely right - one cannot ignore lagna and take karakamsa in a

vacuum, though we may focus on one parameter at a time for the ease of learning.

> Shri K.N.Rao takes Karakamsha as the sign occupied by AK in Navamsa and uses

> it in Rasi.

That can be done too. I want to make one fundamental point today.

* * *

* * *

So, for convenience, we collect all navamsa planets (and

lagna) in one chart, we collect all dasamsa planets (and lagna) in one chart,

and so on.

* * *

* * *

What I am talking about is in the same spirit as concepts such as rasi tylya

navamsa and navamsa tulya rasi. Very close interactions between a planet in one

division and a planet in another division cannot be ignored and they mean

something.

Best regards,

Narasimha
