I, A.Giri, father of Vaishnavi (suffering from Dandy Walker

Malformation, Macrocrania and Occipitoc Encephalocele) kindly request you to

help my baby for the required multiple surgeries to cure her from these

devastating diseases she has been suffering from since she was born.

 

So far, whatever money we had, we spent it for her and we

have no funds left to complete her treatment. We have approached numerous

hospitals throughout India

and finally, a team of doctors from Bangalore

diagnosed and suggested for immediate surgery.

 

The Diagnosis Report

is as follows: -

 

Vaishnavi is suffering from Dandy Walker Malformation, Macrocrania and Occipitoc Encephalocele.

 

Required Operations:

 

Decompression of Posterior

Fossa Cyst and Reconstruction of

Posterior Cranial Fossa and related procedures.

 

Left

Ventriculo-Cysto-Peritoneal Shunt using pediatric low pressure Shunt

(Ceredrain shunt system).                                                                            (There

may be Shunt malfunction and required to

review SOS in case of doubt.)

 

Supratentorial

Remodelling of the skull and related procedures.           (Total cost

of these procedures would cost approximately Rs.13 lakhs – Rs.15 lakhs.)
