I have chosen 7 May 2009 - Narasimha Caturdasi These are the details: Tithi: Sukla Caturdasi Day: Thursday Nakshatra: Chitra Yoga: Siddhi Karana: Garija Time- 11:30:00 am, place- Durban, South Africa Here are my questions: 1) If it is an Appearance Day of God, does it override any negative influences? 2) From my understanding, Chitra is not a bad nakshatra... however on that day the Moon will be in the 6th position from my Janma rasi... so dont know if thats a good or bad thing? 3) Also on that day, Jupiter will be 8th from Ascendant... so a bit worried about that too, considering the gemstone is for Jupiter. This allows the jeweller to cast or begin hand making the mould before setting. If this has already been done, then opt for a time when there are no planets in those two including the 8th in navamsa. If benefics are in the 12th, it's acceptable as is Moon in the 6th. Watch out for planets and lagna lord in marana. Guest guest Posted May 1, 2009 Report Share Posted May 1, 2009 Dear Swee, Since you have an expertise in matters of gemstones.This particular observation has bothered me for quite a while that i have seen people wearing gemstones in fingers but at the same time i have observed few people especially wearing it in neck as pendants. Does it has same effects. Secondly, what is your view about the AGATE? Can it be used as substitute for other gemstones? Awaiting your reply. Thanking you.
