Guest guest
Om Brihaspataye Namah Dear Sanjay P and Narasimha, Namaste Is there a possibility that Narasimha has done the JHora software to load to a Mac? I was told yesterday that my brother has bought an “Apple” for me. Goravani and PL do have his proviso. Hoping…. Love, Swee
Guest guest
I ran JHora software on an Intel mac using Darwine emulation software (open source software) to run PC programs on the Mac. It worked fine. The Darwine emulation runs the program under X11 XWindows implementation. The only problem was with the fonts. Many of them were unreadable. Probably just tweaking the fonts would be easier than writing a whole port. I think Narasimha Rao probably may not have Mac to develop on and may not be interested though. > Is there a possibility that Narasimha has done the JHora software to load to > a Mac? Guest guest
I had installed Jhora on Ubuntu Linux using " wine " . I faced similar problems with fonts. I think if fonts used in Jhora are made available, then, they can be installed in Mac and Linux and it'll work. With a bit of tweaking, Jhora can be made available on both Linux and Mac. Thanks and RegardsBharatOn 6/11/06, amalagaura <amalagaura.lists wrote: I ran JHora software on an Intel mac using Darwine emulation software (open source software) to run PC programs on the Mac.
