Guest guest
Dear Learned Members, I have a dilemma about Maha-Mrityunjaya Mantra. I started this Mantra recitation around 5 days ago. I have been doing 108 japas every day. Since yesterday I have this peculiar experience. After Rishi nyasa etc when I start dhyana the deepak (lamp) went out. I lit it and it again went out after a few recitations. Should i stop reciting the mantra or should i ignore these nimittas and continue. Please guide -rajneesh
Guest guest
Vyam Vyasadevaya Namah. Dear Rajneesh, Nameste, Did you do recititaion with Samput or without samput. I mean prefix and or suffix. There are large variations of this mantra like many others. Without initiation one can japa only beeja mantra or main mantra of Rigvedah. That isTriyamkabam...mrituyam. If you recite OM giva a pause between Om and Mantra or recite OM silently For more clarification download discussion on Gyatri on SJC attri .jagnnath website. There are hint about this mantra in discussion too. Although i have done it i did not face any obstruction One should japa only beeja mantra first and seek gurus permission , as nimmitta are warning in your case of committing some error. Hope this helps. Hari Om Tatsat ---------------------- Swami Daivyaga( R.C.Srivastava) Consulting Astrologer. http://www.cosmograce.com http://www.cosmograce.blogspot.com. Guest guest
Dear Swami Ji, Thanks for your quick reply. I'm reciting this Holy Mantra without any samputa. However I internally (silently) recite " OM " with " breathing in " before I start the main Mantra. I've listened to Gurudev's class on Gayatri and I think I'm doing everything right. Thanks again -rajneesh --- Swami Diavyga <swami_rcs wrote: > > Vyam Vyasadevaya Namah. > Dear Rajneesh, > Nameste, > Did you do recititaion with Samput or without > samput. > I mean prefix and or suffix. There are large > variations of this mantra like > many others. > Without initiation one can japa only beeja mantra or > main mantra of > Rigvedah. Guest guest
Dear Rajneesh, KINDLY consult some lady of the house who is performing puja and lighting the lamp on regular basis . THIS IS JUST happening out of your ignorance. Do not give any meaning to it . Continue your japa with out bothering for such things.
