Tulsi vivah start on the first Ekadashi (Devprabhodni) after Diwali and lasts till Poonam (15th day). Tulsibai is sacred in a Hindu household. It is said to be the purest form and is used in daily in pooja. It is said that one who has a Tulsi leaf in their mouth at the time of death shall be released from all sins. Those who wear a rosary made from Tulsi beads shall get abode from the Gods.
