Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah wise ones: I am a very new student to Jyotish and the answers to my questions might be too advanced for my current comprehension but I am compelled to ask because I truly believe this modality does us as opposed to us doing it...so please, if you are able and willing to share with this newbie, know it will be much appreciated. Birth Chart - Sept. 1, 1949 12:42:21 pm (8:00 West of GMT) 118W 14'34 " , 34 N 03'08 " (Los Angeles, CA USA) Death Chart - November 4, 2006 12:32:15 am (8:00 West of GMT) 122 W 01'47 " , 36N 58'27 " (Santa Cruz, CA USA) This man had a very good life (wealth, long marriage, children and many profitable personal and professional relationships) until about 5 years ago when he was diagnosed with a very unusual cancer that overtime broke various bones in his spine and also caused them to crumble. As this was only going to get worse the US Drs. screwed in two steel rods and attached them to c2 and c3 of his spinal column (base of skull). Prognosis of life was not very promising from a medical standpoint. Our journey together began in his last two months of his life where he was forced to deeply examine his spiritual beliefs and practices as prior to this point his energies were focused on his 10th house presence (Shani & Surya in Simha) and 11th house gains (Shukra, Buddha & Ketu). My questions: 1. In death chart do we look at the 6th & 8th Lords and Significators for sins and karma? 2. Birth chart Atmakarika was Jupiter and Jupiter mantra was applied as well as Soham/Hamsa will this help in lightening karma in next life? 3. Does the Nakshatra one dies in have relevance as to next life birth. 4. Is next life purpose Buddha as it became death Atmakarika? 5. Will Shani in Asc. also cause suffering with health in next life? This was an intense case for me and has motivated me with courage to ask these questions. Thanking you in advance. Marita
Guest guest
||Jay Gurudev|| Marita Bahen, few days earlier, i asked a query about a Punya Chakra (death chart) of a native for which i have great interest. At present, i've started working on some " Punya Chakras " (Death charts) to possibly understand few matters such as Physical/Mental State during death, Desires or lack of it at the very moment, Possibility of attaining higher loka etc..etc.. This seems to be a very tough task due to its very foundation being Non-conformity & shall always remain in realm of possibilities/speculations.(Except lord and enlighten being, who else can know for sure as to what happened to a soul after physical death). In due course of time, i may be able to provide you with some feedback on the same. as for now, following points are note worthy in the Punya Chart. 1) Lagna has SATURN & Ketu in Leo Lagna, obviously aspected by Rahu may show death which is painful and prolonged. Note that Leo is occupied by worst enemy of Lagna Lord & dire malefics. 2) LL Sun is Debilitated with Venus & Mars in close vicinity. Mars is on Mritubhaga. LL Sun as well as Mars is expected by Saturn & Rahu. hence Both the planets are horribly troubled. Devine Jupiter is Neither Aspecting Lagna nor LL. Sun indicates Bones & Mars indicates Marrow. Thus we can relate the Painful & prolonged Death due to Destruction of Bones by the above 2 points. 3) The Manah Karka Moon, in Nakshatra of ketu, was in 9th at the moment seems to be a plus point. It may show that The person at that very moment some thought related to Dharma, Detachment etc.. 4) However 7th house which is the house of desire, along with the other Kama Trikona, dominates in the chart as there are total 5 planets. Rahu is very strong in 7th. WE may speculate here (But with some strong logic) that desires were overpowering and the soul may come back to this planet to further journey. 5) 6th & 8th houses are Empty. 8th & 12th are aspected by Strong Jupiter. as per one Article in JD, these are positive factors which can show that Shadripus (weaknesses) were not that strong and Majority of Sins may have been pardoned or he may have experienced karmaphala of those sins in final years of his life. as i already indicates, the above conclusions are no way conclusive. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Utpal Bhai, Namaste I read somewhere (in more than one of the puranas) that if, during the time of great suffering (illness) and before one passes on, a benefic on the lagna prolongs the duration. More benefics stretches it further.... In other words, benefics on the ascendant will not allow the person to pass on that easily. So we need to have a re-look when it comes to a punya chart, as it does not sound like the same assessment one would normally do when it comes to the method of 3 pairs for calculating one’s longevity. What do you say? Guest guest
||Jay Gurudev|| Swee Mata, Namaste What to say? At present i am checking the possibilities of co- relating *Lagna* of Punya Chakra with the circumstances of Death. The chart given by Marita is of a person who died after 5 years of trouble from a disease related to bones. Some time back i have seen the name of disease in a clinic which i have forgotten. It is such a disease which weakens the bones gradually & finally bones crumbles. Coming to the topic, i could see that the death circumstances do reflect in the Punya chart Lagna/LL. It is also possible that " Crow arrived & the branch fallen and intellect, deluded by time & space, always looking for a cause & effects, some how *related* two totally separate incidences. " - as our wise scriptures quote. I have to refer some more Punya charts to verify the above thing. I also feel that Punya chart may not be seen like Normal Rashi chart because it is the configuration of the moment when Physical body is separated from Sukshma & Karana Shareer. coming back to original point, I am sure when you give reference to Purana, I don't need to verify. I just related Painful & Prolonged illness (5 years) with Manda in Marana and spoiling Lagna as well as LL. The Weakness of bones also comes to fore. Purana may be true in Birth chart but possibly that may not apply to Purana. Marita had asked her query to wise ones. I don't know if i am Wise or otherwise or any otherwise. my own Punay chart will possibly tell. what do you say? Guest guest
|| Hare Raama Krsna || || Durgaa Saranam || Dear Swee-ji/Utpal-bhai, namaskar. Utpal-bhai, you have given a thorough analysis of the Punya Chakra of this native. My knowledge is very limited and I have read about it in Sri Robert Koch-ji's book. As you rightly pointed out that 6th and 8th are empty and hence no major transgressions. But 7th is not empty and contains as strong Rahu and 7th lord is in Lagna. So the soul is going to come back (Sani has just entered the lagna rasi and no. of navaamsas elapsed X 1 year = few days. So this person will be born very soon due to Rahu - deception, treachery or the likes). Guru is aspecting 6th by rasi drishti and 8th by graha drishti so it re-confirms that there were no major ripu doshas. 8th indicates major transgressions affecting others for which one will be punished; where as 6th indicates sins due to own weaknesses that affects oneself primarily. Lagna is severely afflicted with Sani-Ketu and Gk-Md. Sani in gandaanta indicates debilitating disease. Because this combination is aspecting by rasi drishti the 6th house and because 7th lord is involved, the cause of death and rebirth will be connected to these transgressions to some extent. As you rightly pointed out, lagnesha is in debility and aspected/conjoined by all malefics indicating bone disorder. 12-th lord Chandrama is also aspected by many malefics by rasi/graha drishti and 12-th house/lord are aspected by Guru by rasi drishti. This is very positive and Guru's amrita drishti is most benign. Guru being in retrogression indicates that there is some karma left for which he needs to come back. The dharma-karmaadhipaty yoga in the 3rd conjoined by lagnesha and 11th/2nd lords indicate a lot of enjoyment of wealth and success during lifetime. Again, these are only interpretations by a novice student like myself and may be forgiven if wrong. Sarvam Durgaarpanamastu. Guest guest
|| Hare Raama Krsna || || Durgaa Saranam || Dear Utpal-bhai, namaskar. I am excited to learn from the discussions on this topic as this is the real essence of jyotisha I wanted when I first came to study it. The typical things like career, marriage etc are quite mundane, though quite relevant. Like Swami Premeshananda-ji Maharaaj used to say, getting sannyasa is like leaving the samsaara asrama and entering another samsaara with a different kind of bindings; similarly, death is another birth only. Birth chart is the Entry Chart for this world and Death is leaving this lokaa and entry into another lokaa, and indicates what karmaphala you are carrying when you are going there. So Punya Chakra is more relevant that the birth chart although they are connected just like two souls are connected by the umbilical cord at birth. It is said that when a Prasna Chart (for some query) is made for a person during his life, that chart indicates a lot about the current state of the person (i.e. the current state of his karma and phala to come) than his birth chart as there is a degree of free will in life and indicates how much that have changed the karmic trajectory indicated by birth chart. I do not know of any Dasa System with which we can do a regression and see some of the past life events based on Punya chart. Actually, I don't know if it is possible or not, I am just conjecturing. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Utpal Bhai, Namaste Sanjay ji gave a lesson on the onset of illnesses connected to the nakshatras. It determines the length of the suffering. (Sudden deaths, which I consider as not natural, surely cannot be considered – for this, the method of 3 pairs apply here). Actually, it was Garuda who arrived and the branch that fell had the supporter of the Sun, the Valkilya rishis hanging heads down. .... Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Utpal Bhai, I am offering the birth and punya charts of my father for your research. I have a purpose in doing so, because some months after his death, i dreamt of him lying in a cradle...that too in the house of my uncle (my father's elder brother, who is 93 years old now and fit as a fiddle...touch wood!). But his birth chart shows Ketu in the 12th house! For verification of birth chart, my father was an extremely strong & nice person, who never lied in his whole life and never spoke/thought ill of anyone, but was very courageous and tough, when it came to principles. I consider him as a real life-hero, not because he was my father, but because he was one of those quiet, truly heroic persons. He always laughed like a child...infact, he was very childlike in his simplicity and faith in God and man. He was not an actively pious person...not a regular temple-goer, never performed many poojas etc, but i consider him to be far more spiritual than either myself or my mother :--))His only bad habit was chewing " jarda paan " and perhaps that led to his developing Parkinson's disease. He had severe nervous debility, and had to have a catheter for nearly 4-5 years. He used to fall down frequently and hurt himself. But miraculously he always recovered swiftly. He suffered severely for nearly one month before his death (kidney failure). My mother knew about his impending death, as she had seen him in a dream wearing white clothes and looking very fit & happy. Despite her pleas to go back to Hyderabad for better medical care, he insisted on passing away in Tirupati...on the 7th day of 7th month and near 7 hills. He died on the 7th day after hospitalisation, in Sat-Sat-Moon dasa. Because my mother had prior intuition (she's very intuitive, knew about my birth even before I was perhaps conceived!!), she never left his side for 7 days and filled his last days with chanting & singing of Raama naamam. Though he was in virtual coma for the last 3 days, he did seem to know when I was around, and his last look was at me and his last glass of milk was from me, though sadly I was not around when he finally passed away. I am his only child. My mother noticed an expression of great peace and relief on his face soon after he passed away. She says that he looked truly happy after a long long time. Please forgive my long post, but somehow your affectionate nature has prompted me to share the above. B. V. Guest guest
|| Hare Raama Krsna || || Durgaa Saranam || Dear Lakshmi-ji, Pranaam. With my very limited understanding of Punya Chakra, may I be permitted to write a few lines? In your father's Punya Chakra, Lagna is in Kumbha rasi and Guru is in the 7th and indicates rebirth perhaps as a wise and learned individual. Guru is aspecting the 12-th from Lagna and hence he will temporarily stay in the Satya Loka. 8th house is empty and hence no major doshas for punishment but 6th house has 8th lord Budha and Mangal and hence some dosha is there (krodha and matsarya) for which some physical suffering could be there. The strength of Guru and his influence in the kaamatrikona speaks volumes for his strong character. Guru happens to be in Simha rasi and Tula Navaamsa which is Rasi Chart's 9th house. Chandra is in Meena rasi and in the 2nd house indicating sweet speech. Lagnesha in the 3rd and 5th indicates person was bold and had authority. Sukra is in 4th house in digvala and in own rasi giving Maalavya Mahaapurusha Yoga. Lagnehsa in the 5th with Surya shows some unhappiness with children (ego-clashes) could have been there at some point in life (please confirm and forgive if this is wrong). Lagnesha/AK in debility in Navaamsa indicates humility and very simple lifestyle. Per Robert Koch-ji's book, Lagnesha Sani is AK and has elapsed about 6.75 navaamsas and hence rebirth could happen after 6.75 years from Punya. Sarvam Durgaarpanamastu.
Best wishes, Sourav ||Jay Gurudev||Marita Bahen, few days earlier, i asked a query about a Punya Chakra (death chart)of a native for which i have great interest. At present, i've started working on some "Punya Chakras" (Deathcharts) to possibly understand few matters such as Physical/MentalState during death, Desires or lack of it at the very moment,Possibility of attaining higher loka etc..etc..This seems to be a very tough task due to its very foundation beingNon-conformity & shall always remain in realm ofpossibilities/speculations.(Except lord and enlighten being, whoelse can know for sure as to what happened to a soul after physicaldeath). In due course of time, i may be able to provide you with somefeedback on the same. as for now, following points are note worthyin the Punya Chart.1) Lagna has SATURN & Ketu in Leo Lagna, obviously aspected by Rahumay show death which is painful and prolonged. Note that Leo isoccupied by worst enemy of Lagna Lord & dire malefics.2) LL Sun is Debilitated with Venus & Mars in close vicinity. Marsis on Mritubhaga. LL Sun as well as Mars is expected by Saturn & Rahu. hence Both the planets are horribly troubled. Devine Jupiteris Neither Aspecting Lagna nor LL.Sun indicates Bones & Mars indicates Marrow. Thus we can relate the Painful & prolonged Death due to Destructionof Bones by the above 2 points.3) The Manah Karka Moon, in Nakshatra of ketu, was in 9th at themoment seems to be a plus point. It may show that The person at thatvery moment some thought related to Dharma, Detachment etc..4) However 7th house which is the house of desire, along with theother Kama Trikona, dominates in the chart as there are total 5planets. Rahu is very strong in 7th. WE may speculate here (But withsome strong logic) that desires were overpowering and the soul maycome back to this planet to further journey.5) 6th & 8th houses are Empty. 8th & 12th are aspected by StrongJupiter. as per one Article in JD, these are positive factors whichcan show that Shadripus (weaknesses) were not that strong andMajority of Sins may have been pardoned or he may have experiencedkarmaphala of those sins in final years of his life.as i already indicates, the above conclusions are no way conclusive.Regards,Utpal.com, "Marita" <klegos wrote:>> Om Gurave Namah wise ones:>> I am a very new student to Jyotish and the answers to my questions> might be too advanced for my current comprehension but I am> compelled to ask because I truly believe this modality does us as> opposed to us doing it...so please, if you are able and willing to> share with this newbie, know it will be much appreciated.>> Birth Chart - Sept. 1, 1949 12:42:21 pm (8:00 West of GMT)> 118W 14'34", 34 N 03'08" (Los Angeles, CA USA)>> Death Chart - November 4, 2006 12:32:15 am (8:00 West of GMT)> 122 W 01'47", 36N 58'27" (Santa Cruz, CA USA)>> This man had a very good life (wealth, long marriage, children and> many profitable personal and professional relationships) untilabout> 5 years ago when he was diagnosed with a very unusual cancer that> overtime broke various bones in his spine and also caused them to> crumble. Guest guest
Namaste Lakshmi ben & Sourav Da, Lakshmi ben: Thank you for providing me some details about your beloved father. I'll definitely give my insight on the Punya cahrt at proper time. Trust me ! i always keep my promises. Sorav da has already given some findings. Only one thing i would say presently that it looks like the soul may come back for further journey on this planet & probably at a place which is Rich with resources, near place which is surrounded by *hill*, Forest. probably a palce of Pilgrimage. Sourav Da: With your extremely limited knowledge, you can give so much insight, i wonder what you would have done with indepth knowledge of Punya Chart technology . I could your exuberance on this topic and fely very very happy. On a serious note, I have just read one article on Punay chakra from JD. It is of a great help but I wish to *think* on this issue & hence at present don't wish to go thro' the book at the moment. The trigger & real desire came to study Punya chart because of two native's Punya chart. one which i have provided in this list few days ago & another chart, which i provided long ago in 'Gajapati' list. if you would have noticed, i've used *May* everywhere because the ground is shaky, the territory is unknown & the pooor man in knowledge, with rich ego, decided to enter with little help. I am not considering Rashi drashti at the moment for it. probably i may consider it. And as you point out perfectly, It is really very enjoyable & refreshing to study other than Mundane matters such as Roti,Kapada,Makan, dukan,Dhan, dara etc..etc.. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Sourav ji, I agree with Utpal Bhai that your analysis is very incisive and mature, despite your claims to inexperience!! Robert Koch ji's book is indeed very enlightening about these aspects. Yes, my father was a malavya mahapurusha in life as well as in death. Regarding Saturn & Sun combination in 5th house from punya lagna, I would look at it more like clash with spouse (Sun is 7th lord) over children. I think that's a very true & astute reading because I am more my father's daughter than my mother's and i think she always resented it in her heart of hearts. She herself is a highly intelligent and pious lady, but my being an only child makes her very protective & possessive. After all, all of us are human beings and have our flaws. I also tend to think that my father would be reborn, because he passed away in Dakshinayana, in krishna paksha and during night. in my uncle's house, there are 3 likely couples (two grand daughters and one grandson) to whom he could be born. Let me wait. I am really looking forward to seeing him. Thanks again, regards, Lakshmi sohamsa , Sourav Chowdhury <souravc108 wrote: > > || Hare Raama Krsna || > || Durgaa Saranam || > > Dear Lakshmi-ji, > Pranaam. > > Best wishes, > > Sourav > Om Gurave Namah > > Namaste Utpal Bhai, > > I am offering the birth and punya charts of my father for your > research. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Utpal Bhai, Please take your own time. The terms " hill " , " forest " and " holy place " etc seem to imply Tirupati! I have also enjoyed your analysis of Shri Chandu Bhai's dictum about retrograde 8th lord. Have you considered only persons over 90 years for your analysis? Regards, Lakshmi sohamsa , " utpal pathak " <vedic_pathak wrote: > > Namaste Lakshmi ben & Sourav Da, > > Lakshmi ben: Thank you for providing me some details about your > beloved father. Guest guest
||Jay Gurudev|| Lakshmi bahen, All the attributes i fancied were on the basis of Leo falling in 7th having Jupiter as Dhanakarka, lord of 9th & 11th, ruler of 9th house of Kaalpursuha couple with the fact that the man of principles died in Tirupati as per his strong wishes. I didn't actually look for 90 years or above, it just happened un- intentionally. see gain your intellect went in to cause & effect )) My moon is in all kinds of *Pushkar*, i mean Navamansha as well as Bhaga but it won't help the cause for the topic as it is not the 8th lord. yours affly. Guest guest
|| Hare Raama Krsna || || Durgaa Saranam || Dear Lakshmi-ji, Pranaam. Thank you for the helful feedback. Yes it is difficulty with spouse regarding child -- lagnesha in the 5th house of children with 7th lord Surya showing this. The very fact that lagnesha is in the 5th and 5th lord is in the 6th indicates some unhappiness with progeny or child at some point in life which created anger (Rahu in the 3rd and 3rd lord Mangal is debilitated in the 6th). Mangal in debility shows he felt very bad about it but that anger was still with him underneath the surface which he had tried to control externally. Anyway, it is all yours to reflect back now. You have served him very well (5th lord in the 6th in Chandra rasi). May Mother bless his soul and guide him in his remainder path. Only one graha in the 7th indicates only few more births that he has to take. Of course, Moksha is in Mokshamayi's hands. Sarvam Durgaarpanamastu. Guest guest
|| Hare Raama Krsna || || Durgaa Saranam || Dear Lakshmi-ji, Pranaam. I was further thinking of your father's Punya Chakra and it occurred to me that you mentioned that mother was with father and singing Raama Naama. Now, 7th lord (your mother) is with lagnesha Sani in the 5th house of bhakti/devataa and this is Surya (indicating Sri Raama). So Raama Naama Sankirtana by his wife at Punya Muhurta is confirmed hereby. Sarvam Durgaarpanamastu.
