Thanks for this post, but I want to ask a basic question.

Sun signs has tremendous importance .Vishnu puran

teaches a lot in canto 2 ch 8, but to my mind it refers to

Sayan Zodiac, Hence thedoubt.

My question is we say seasons start from 1. Shishr: when Sun is in Cap And Aqu 2. Basant :is when Sun is situated in Pisces, Aries and so on.Now technically this should be Sayan plcement. when we apply this concept to lost horoscopy.How here we should take "niryan sign or sayan sign." A few times confusion is clear in lost horoscopy when some details are known and others are not known.

Similarly name of Month Magh Phalgun must have a correspondance,

Now the dates posted here are approxmation by number of days equiv to Ayanamsa. Fine what is the precise dates when Sun changes from uttaryan to dakshinayan and vice versa ,the date when declination is maximum or Sun is in sayan ZERO? of Rasi . Say panchang shows dakhisyan starting w.e.f 26 june 2006 when month Name is Ashadha and sun is at 11 th degree in gemini , it is Varsha ritu ? Is this reckoning correct? Point is Neither SUN is at Zero sayan nor Niryan zero.

in other words How to reckon correctly vedic months and ritus.?

When we see gochar results based on these dates thr gochar phal also should be accordingly written.In most cases it is not so.

I am curious how to make use knowledge of this post correctly.
