Dear SS and Sharat,

Namaste

[Now i dont know how this relates to Mercury....perhaps Swee can tell.]

Bala asura was one of the demons who fought with Indra on behalf of Jaalandhara. Due to Indra’s trickery, Bala asura was slain. Ruby and Mercury came from his blood. In the genealogy of Bala asura, Lakshmi was his real sister – Mahabharata.

I don’t see any relation of Mercury as related to Shiva’s semen as originally suggested by Hari Pansari. Thank you for the clarification.

Love,

Swee

Dear Swee/Sharat,

Q: jaalandhara, the son of the Ocean ˆ his birth was the union of

Ganga? And the Ocean ˆ which Ocean? His father, the Ocean, gave him

Jambudvipa. The Milky Ocean was his Uncle where amrit was churn

SS: After being born (as in the stroy below), Jalandhar was handed

over to Samudra Dev (The Ocean) - hence he came to be know as

Samudra's son and in due corse of time, devi Laxmi (daughter of

ocean, as she came out during the churning)was referred to as

Jalandhar's sister by Narada(which annoyed her, ofcourse)....Narada

beseeched Her in an attempt to curb Jalandhar's warrings with the

devatas. Jalandhar conceded for sometime after being persuaded by

LAxmi, but then Shukracharya incited Jalandhar not to befriend the

Lord Vishnu 'who thought only for the benefit of devatas'....so

Jalandhar again went on the warfooting and was killed as narrated in

story below.

Dear Sharat/Swee,

I think Swee does mean Jalandhar.

Jalandhar was born out of the Avadhootesvara form of Shiva when

Indra could not comprehend His form and ridiculed Him, but was saved

from the wrath at that moment by Brihaspati accompanying him. So

Shiva pardoned Indra at the moment but that 'energy of anger'

transformed into Jalandhar.

This Jalandhar grew to be an asura, trained under Shukracharya,

married Vrinda (daughter of Kaalnemi) who (vrinda) was a Shiva

devotee.

Jalandhar, being an asura, created havoc in the creation, troubled

Indra (as per the karmic cycle created by indra), but could not be

killed due to Vrinda's Shiva Bhakti...but the cache 22 was that he

could be saved only until Jalandhar did not cast a bad eye on any

other woman....so, this Jalandhar gets somehow (by Narada's

intervention) attracted to Parvati and enters into tiff with

Shiva....and is finally killed in the battle (the Vrinda side of the

story is not added here where Vishnu intevenes and she lives forever

as Tulsi - Ocimum sanctum).

Now i dont know how this relates to Mercury....perhaps Swee can tell.

God Bless

must be killed to prevent his interfere in the ceremony. Yuddhisthir

decides to send Krishna, Bheema and Arjuna to challenge Jarasandh in

single combat. Jarasandh chooses to fight with Bheema. Bheema and

Jarasandh - matched so equally in strength - fight for nearly

fourteen days without rest. When Jarasandh finally showed signs of

exhaustion, Krishna prompts Bheema to make an end of him. After

Jarasandha is destroyed, his son is crowned King of Magadh.

Dear SS,

Namaste

So what is alchemy if the Avadhootesvara form of Shiva is not? How do we correlate this to Bala asura’s blood? Hariram?

SS: i find such direct correlation preposterous, to say the

least,unless proven otherwise.

However, on another note, Mercury, in esoteric alchemy signifies the

coniunctio, or uniting of opposites ... hence probably the

construction of Parad Shivalinga (unified insignia of Shiva -Male

PRinciple and Shakti - Female Principle) esp. found it's placed in

tantra sadhana.
