Guest guest
Namaste Narasimha, Exercise 1: Find the Arudha padas of the Chart 1 Asc is Virgo. Lord Mercury is 7 houses away in Pisces. 7th from Mercury is Virgo. So AL is 10 houses away from Virgo. Which is GEMINI A2 is Leo A3 is Virgo (Lord of Scorpio is Mars) A4 is Leo A5 is Aries( 5th lord Saturn is 4 houses away from 5th , and 4 houses therefrom is 7th from 5th. So count 10 from the said 7) A6 is Gemini (counting Saturn as 6th lord) A7 is Taurus A8 is Capricorn (Lord is in the house, so count 10 away from it) A9 is Capricorn A10 Sagittarius A11 is Taurus UL is Libra. Exercise 2: Learning; Inner . 4th house Academic degrees; outer, A9 Devotion: inner, 5th house Reciting Mantras; inner and outer, 5th and A5 Feeling sick: inner , 6th house Being sick and getting treated: outer, A6 Boldness: inner, 3rd house Weapons:outer, A3 Luck:inner, 9th house Trapping of fortunes: outer, A9, A2,A11 Judgement and discretion:inner, 9th house Reputation; outer, A10 Followers; outer, A5 Bank balance;outer, A2 Exercise 3; 6th house shows quarrels. Quarrels that others see is seen from A6. A6 is in Gemini in chart 3. How could you say that the fight is with a powerful body? Is it because 7th lord is Jupiter? Winning a championship is shown by A5, which in this chart is Sagittarius . It is aspected by 3 benefics. Loss of Championship is shown by the 9th from A5 which has malefic Rahu in it. I haven't grasped the computation of Narayana dasas yet. Thank you for the lesson and clearing up the confusion about Vivaha Saham. What you say about Upapada and darapada is very interesting. Guest guest
Dear Chitra, > Namaste Narasimha, > Exercise 1: Find the Arudha padas of the Chart 1 Actually, I wanted the calculations for Chart 2. I gave the detailed calculations of chart 1 in the lesson. If you re-read, you will see that. You took the same chart and gave the calculations below. Anyway, it's fine. But there are a couple of errors. Check the lesson and compare your calculations with those given in the lesson. > Asc is Virgo. Lord Mercury is 7 houses away in Pisces. 7th from Mercury is Virgo. So AL is 10 houses away from Virgo. Which is GEMINI > A2 is Leo > A3 is Virgo (Lord of Scorpio is Mars) > A4 is Leo > A5 is Aries( 5th lord Saturn is 4 houses away from 5th , and 4 houses therefrom is 7th from 5th. So count 10 from the said 7) > A6 is Gemini (counting Saturn as 6th lord) > A7 is Taurus > A8 is Capricorn (Lord is in the house, so count 10 away from it) > A9 is Capricorn > A10 Sagittarius > A11 is Taurus > UL is Libra. > > Exercise 2: > > Learning; Inner . 4th house > Academic degrees; outer, A9 > Devotion: inner, 5th house > Reciting Mantras; inner and outer, 5th and A5 > Feeling sick: inner , 6th house > Being sick and getting treated: outer, A6 > Boldness: inner, 3rd house > Weapons:outer, A3 > Luck:inner, 9th house > Trapping of fortunes: outer, A9, A2,A11 > Judgement and discretion:inner, 9th house > Reputation; outer, A10 > Followers; outer, A5 > Bank balance;outer, A2 > > Exercise 3; > 6th house shows quarrels. Quarrels that others see is seen from > A6. A6 is in Gemini in chart 3. How could you say that the fight > is with a powerful body? Is it because 7th lord is Jupiter? Is A6 strong? Is it occupied or aspected by strong planets? > Winning a championship is shown by A5, which in this chart is Sagittarius . It is aspected by 3 benefics. > > Loss of Championship is shown by the 9th from A5 which has > malefic Rahu in it. I have already made this point in reply to Solai (I think). But this point is so important that I will make it again. The 9th from of A5 does NOT show " loss " of championship. It shows " protection " of championship. The 9th house stands for protection and not loss. The 9th house and its lord are the main protectors of anything. Here 9th is afflicted by Rahu and 9th lord Sun is debilitated. So the protection is weak and loss occurred (in a relevant dasa). I know what you mean, but it is not worded correctly. > I haven't grasped the computation of Narayana dasas yet. > > Thank you for the lesson and clearing up the confusion about Vivaha Saham.
