Namaste Gurudeva, Narasimha and other members,

 

Thanks Narasimha for the wonderful lesson on Arudha.

 

Recently, for a reply on Dhasa Pravesh chart, Narasimha stressed the

importance of Transit analysis.

So, I was just trying to catch up my understanding with Transit.

 

I will give below my understanding about the Various tools of Transit

Analysis and the query.

 

1.Transit based on Moon sign:-Transit is assessed considering Moon sign

(Rasi) as the focal point or lagna, which is general for all the Rasi and

then the same is analysed with respect to the Natal chart. For example,

Saturn's transit on chandra lagna is bad for health - this is general- its

effect is less if the chandra lagna is Ta, as Saturn is the yoga karaka -

this is also general for all the Ta. chandra lagna. But, if Saturn is the

lagna lord, or if it is exalted in the Natal chart, further its negative

effects are less. Isn't it? This I do not have much knowledge.

 

2.Transit based on Natal lagna and Natal chart:- This I am not sure, but, I

have seen many people used in the e-group time to time.

 

3.Transit over Navamsa sign also considered along with above methods or

separately. This method also I am not sure.

 

4.Based on Ashtakavarga:- It is mentioned in the classics, that main utility

of Ashtakavarga is for the transit analysis. If a planet transits over a

sign, where the Ashtakavarga bindu is less, it will give inauspicious

results, otherwise it gives auspicious results.

 

Queries:

 

1. Is my understanding correct? I think the answer may require a separate

lesson.

2. Is there any other tools other than these for transit analysis?

3. I think Ashtakavarga can be easy and will be specific for an individual.

In that case, whether, the inauspicious or auspicious are to be judged based

on the planet's naisargika character or based on the signs/bhava owned or

based on the bhava disposed? For example, in Gurudeva's chart, take Mars, in

Sc., it has 2 AV bhindu, so, whether the results will be (a) due to its

naisargika quality, heat problems will pop or (b) being the 2nd and 9th

lord, can we expect disturbance in Kudumba or © being placed in 7th, will

it give misunderstanding with people or wife? Similarly, when it moves to

Sg., where the AV is 7, can we expect its turn around results?
