Pranaam Gurudev and Members,

 

I was reading an article in Web regarding the 7 day week. There it

mentions that 7 day week was used in India only from 484AD.

 

'The week days are not found in earlier Hindu scriptures like the Vedas of the

classics like the great epic Mahabharata.

They occur only from 484 AD, but not in inscriptions of 300 AD or earlier.'

But, In BPHS the planet sequence is in Week day order.

and Vyasa deva's Navagraha Stotra is also in the same sequence

as the week days.

 

Can somebody explain if there are any explicit reference to week days.
