Lesson 15 - own chart practice

I tried to calculate the SL and Sudasha for my own chart. Here are

the results. I will appreciate any corrections that may be rquired.

 

Sudasa Calculation

 

Birth Details: 29-May-1966, Dehradun, India (78E02, 30N19), 7:28pm

 

Lagna is at 20 Sc 03 = 230 deg 03'

Moon is at 13 Vi 43 (Hastha nakshatra). Hastha nakshatra starts at

10 Vi 00.

 

Calculation of SL

 

Distance traveled by Moon in Hastha = 13 Vi 43 – 10 Vi 00 = 3deg 43'

 

Fraction = 3deg 43' / 13deg 20' = 133' / 410'

Fraction of zodiac = 133' * 360 / 410' = 116.78 = 116deg 47'

 

Adding this to lagna = 116deg 47' + 230deg 03' = 346deg 50' = 16 Pi

50.

 

SL is at 16 Pi 50

 

Adjustment of first dasha

 

The first dasha will be of Pi. The lord is in Gemini. Hence the

length = 10 – 1 = 9years.

SL has 13 deg 10' left to travel. Hence, the adjustment = 13deg10' *

9 / 30deg00' = 4 years, 1month and 6days.
