<I didn't rectify the birthtime of Bhaktivedanta Swami, this was done by ourparam-guru Pt Sanjay Rath. I rectified my own birthchart again (with kundaand janma vighati rectification) in regard to the calculations I made today.This morning when I was doing my morning puja, my mind was spinning aroundand thinking about this ayanamsa question, and after my puja I startedcalculating on this subject. Yesterday evening already I was inspired toread from the Srimad Bhagavata Purana, 12th canto, chapter 2, texts 26-34.Please read it if you have a copy at hand. Time is a little short for menow, otherwise I would type it out. Maybe tomorrow.>

 

I don't like suggestions from a spinning mind, yet i'll ask others to contribute regarding this statement.

<It states there that one naksatra is traversed by ayanamsa in a time periodof 1.200 years! If you read carefully, you'll understand. Whereas Lahiriuses a time of about 960 years for one naksatra to be traversed! This is themistake. According to my calculations, BV Raman would have introduced hisayanamsa in the year 1978? I don't have any information on him or books ofhim at hand, maybe you can tell me where to find something on the internet?While for Lahiri, it seems that he used the ephemeris of about 1450-1460,which is about the time of Lord Chaitanya and started calculating fromthere.>
