Rath: RASI CHART: In matters of health, look at the Lagna and eighth lords first. The Lagna is Taurus and its Lord Venus is placed in the 12th house in the company of Mandi and Gulika. This makes Venus very malefic and during the Dasa of Venus, the effects of these terrible shadowy sons of the God of death shall be seen. Poison spreads in the body as a result of the bad influence of Mandi.

 

The Lagna is conjoined the 8th Lord Jupiter and hence, Venus being the dispositor of the Rogesha (Lord of disease) shall also give disease indications.

 

There is a Graha Malika Yoga with all planets falling between Venus and Saturn from the 12th House (hospitals/incarceration etc) to the fifth house of knowledge and Mantra. Thus, there is another reason for this debilitating disease..it is the begining of a higher realisation and the suffering that is forcing him to be indoors can be turned into a blessing in disguise by sitting and chanting the Mahamantra.

Rath: NAVAMSA: Look at the position of Venus again with Mandi and in debility. This will destroy health as Venus is again the Lord of Lagna in Navamsa. The placement of a planet in debilitated Navamsa is very evil, especially when it is placed in the second from Arudha Lagna in the Rasi Chart. Such a position can give a permanent image of a "diseased person" in this world of Maya.

Rath: TRIMSAMSA: The eighth Lord is Venus indicating a major disease. What is worse, it is placed in a mercurial sign indicating some nervous related problem and skin afflictions. It is also in the fourth house from Lagna (Jaimini Maharishi teaches that such a position is bad for the arms and hands. Why? This is the second from the third house)

Rath: Let us Look at the Shoola Dasa for timing the disease and dangers. The Shools Dasa begins from Lagna as it is stronger with Jupiter in it. Till 1989, the Dasa are Taurus (Guru), Gemini (Merc), Cancer (Ketu) and Leo (AK-Moon) indicating fairly good health. With the advent of Virgo Dasa, the disease set in. As per the Ghatak Chakra, Virgo is Ghatak (inflictor of wounds) to Taurus and has saturn the Yogakaraka PLUS BADHAK planet placed in it. This is the "CATCH".

 

Next dasa of Libra has the A8 in it and is not very condusive for health either. However, there is the aspect of Jupiter and AK-Moon. This is a very valuable hint and can be used very effectively to get the cure from the disease. Since AK Moon is involved, this calls for a deep level of spiritual energy to get out of the disease.

 

Ista Devata is indicated by the Sun in Scorpio in the 12th house from the Moon (Karakamsa) in the Navamsa chart. Thus, the native should recite the Holy name of Bhagavan Sri Ram. (NOTE-1).

Now, Parasara teaches that if Jupiter is placed in Lagna in strength, then a sincere bow to the Trident holder (Shiva as Param Guru) shall wipe away a thousand sins (Note-2).

 

Now, combine Note-1 & Note-2 and what do we get...the most beautiful "SHIVA_RAM Stotra" taught by Shankaracharya. He should sincerely worship Shiva & Rama as Guru and Ista and then gradually, the poison shall leave his body. Mritunjaya Mantra can be good, but he may not be able to do it. Instead, he can listen to a taped version of this Mantra.

Hare Rama KrishnaNamaste, This person (Sergey Rebrov) got disease "diffused sclerosys" in 1989.Since that time due to the disease he doesn't goes outside and lives in fourwalls. In this year he started to fell worse - weakness and lost of sensibility inhands and arms. As far I'm a novice in Jyotish I can not find the reasons of ill health andremedies to eliminate them. In my humble opinion, illness and weakness areconnected to Lagna lord Shukra in 12th bhava as lord of 6th (although she givesdrishti on own 6th bhava from 12th). In addition Guru is in Lagna as lord of8th and lord of worst tri-shadaya bhava - 11th bhava. Maybe as remedies hecan use gems for Shani (Raja Yoga karaka) and mantras for Shukra and for Guru(to decrease the influence of 6th and 8th on Lagna)... Any help will be appreciate. Thank you.
