Using Rath's Rule

First of all, thanks to prabhu Sanjay and Aphton for the answer.

 

I was reading the chapter about the Rath's Rule, and i was trying to use it

to determine the pass-away of my mother. She dies 6 - July - 2000, around

10:30 p.m. I don't have the chart of my mother, but I was using myself

(Attached are my chart again, and the chart of my mother's pass-away). My

chart was rectified for an astrologer from 6:25 a.m. to 6:28 a.m. using my

mother's pass-away. But i move to 6:20 am, and it gives in the D-12 Thula

Lagna instead of Vrishchika Lagna.

 

Month of death:

 

So the 4th from Thula Lagna is Makara, and i'm using it as the ascendent

for my mother. The Mrityupada is Thula. Surya was in Mithuna, so it's OK.

 

Vedic date of death:

 

The fifth from Makara (10th from the 8th) is Vrishaba, without any planet.

So, Sukra states for the day. Here i have some doubts.

 

first: The day started with Shasti (with states correct), but at the time of

her pass-away it was saptami. I guess, the day must be the tithi at the

start of the solar day (as usual).

 

second: In COVA, prabhu Sanjay says: " The tithi of death is seen from the

strongest planet in the fifth house... If none are there, *then the sign

occupied by the fifth Lord* " . What i understand is that it isn't the lord of

the house, but the lord of the house where this planet is. It seems to be

different as in the mesage post by Solai.

 

Vedic time (lagna) of death:

 

The Arudha for Makara is Meena. And the lagna at the time of death was

Meena.

 

I would appreciate if anyone can tell me if the conclusions are correct and

well used.

 

If the conclusion is correct, then i guess i send a wrong DOB, sorry for

that. This may change the ascendant from 6:15a.m. until 6:24 a.m., but these

could move the Saptamsa Lagna to Makara, but the fifth from it (in reverse

order, for be an even sign), will be Kanya, and i guess that the

recomendation about the birth in the hospital remains the same.
