Guest guest
Namaste , I have been thinking about transits and did a quick calculation ( shown below as a picture file. If you are using Outlook and are rich text mode or HTML mode you will see this...or it will be sent automatically as an attachment) Transits from the Janma Rasi tend to influence day to day life...more noticeable with faster paced planets Buddha, Sukra, Chandr, Mid paced with Mangala and Ravi, and slower with the giants ( Sani and Guru) and as slow with Ketu and Rahu. The calculation below ferrets out some interesting observations ( for me). N = Negative transit, and P = Positive Transits. I used my Rasi chart to do the calculations, so Janma Rasi = Taurus. 1. Overall 40% of transits ( Gochara) generate a positive influence; 60% generate a negative influence. 2. 11th house is always positive (Pi is owned by Guru) 3. 12th house is always negative and is owned by Mars in my chart, which also happens to reside in the 12th from Lagna in my Natal chart and also 12th from Karakamsa in Navamsa indicating Ista Devata. Questions: * Why would the natural tendency of Lord Narayana's Dwadas Aditya have more negative influence then positive? Would it not make sense that Sattva would dominate ? That for Dharma to take hold more sattvic influences would rule? * Why are the Trines ( 1st, 5th, 9th ) or Kendra's ( 1,4,7,10) not all positive transits? The best divisions of 120degrees being the steps arcoss the sky and representing Narayana's body? * How can Ravi ( the soul) ever cause one grief transiting accoss his own Dwadasaditya system? Just as a father visits all 12 of his son's how can he not be welcomed or give malace to any one of his son's houses? Are we thinking correctly about Jyotish and Bhumandala? There must be deeper meaning here I need to understand and comes out in the Varga charts. Any thoughts from the group and the Guru's on this?
