Dear Jyotisha,

 

It is a great honor to be counted among one of Sanjay-ji's new students. I know a lot of you from the vedic astrology list, but for those of you who don't know me please allow me to introduce myself.

 

I am 36 years old and live in a suburb of New York City. Until my son was born 6 years ago I was a Research Technician in biotechnology , but now I devote myself fully to my family and this wonderful Divine Science. I have been studying jyotish on my own for about 4 years but started with Western techniques for a few years before that. I hope to learning astrology well enough so that one day I be able to use it to be of service to others. I am attaching my birth details for anyone who wishes to see my chart. (18 July 1964, 20:31 EDT -4 GMT ,Montclair, NJ, USA 74W12 40N49)

 

Thank you to those who have been giving hints to newcomers lately. It's been very helpful. I look forward to beginning my lessons very soon.

Welcome to the class of Vedic Astrology. The gratitude which you have for

the Gurus and the class will only heighten while time passes by. You will

find yourself more confident in giving predictions. But do remember, we

are working here with a mission. " To take out Jyotish from the clutches of

prejudices, wrong notions and from the hands of the quacks who discredit

Jyotish with little knowledge they have. "
