re: How can we see the inherited traits/ skills from past life from the Rasi and Navamsa charts?

Sanjay points out that Rahu represents the desires that have remained from a previous birth. That being said - how do we evaluate those desires? If Rahu is positioned in the 3rd house in D1 does that infer additional satisfaction or issues with co-borns, courage, mental strength is being pursued in this life?

Malefics in the 3rd tend to give valor...is that was was missing or desired from the previous birth....does the drekkna positiongive a hint to what is trying to be accomplished?
