Om Gurave Namah

----------------

Guru Sanjayji,

Namaste. Thanks a lot for your reply re: Meera. I have

a typical beginer's syndrome-too much enthusiasm and

too little knowledge. The remedy lies in your guidance

and my application.

Guruji, doesn't wisdom presuppose and transcend

intelligence? I think Jupiter includes Mercury, but

the reverse is not true. Wisdom is the " Amrita " born

of inner conflict resolved by intelligent

introspection coupled with silence, perseverance and

faith.

Intelligence in the form of " Tarka " or logic

represented by Mercury, devoid of Jupiter's wisdom,

can sometimes make one caught up in endless

questioning and rhetoric, without " Amrita " being

anywhere in sight.

There is a lovely story about " Markata Kishora Nyaaya "

(signifying Gnani) and " Maarjala Kishora Nyaaya "

(signifying Bhakta).....

Guruji, I appreciate your attitude re:newcomers. I am

sure that no one would like to let down such a Guru.

I am attaching the assignment of 1st lesson, which I

have attempted with my limited comprehension.

Regards,

Lakshmi
