Guest guest
Pranaam Sanjay, In your father's chart, you pointed out that Mercury is the 5th lord and joins Sun, Jupiter and Venus. You said Mercury, Sun and Venus gave the result and added their years to get the solar day. You asked why Jupiter was excluded. I noticed one thing that may or may not be a coincidence. Using 360-degree years recommended by you, your father was running Rahu-Mercury-Venus-Sun sookshma dasa as per Vimsottari dasa, when your elder brother was born. In addition to Venus and Sun being in lagna and Mercury owning the weekday at your brother's birth, did you consider this (i.e. your father's dasas) to conclude that Mercury, Venus and Sun gave this result?? Is that why you added only their years and excluded Jupiter? Kindly clarify! Your sishya, Narasimha --------------------- Narasimha P.V.R. Guest guest
Pranaam Sanjay, > Dear Narasimha, > I will not give the answer now, but encourage you further. See the dasa's my > father was running when I was born. Rahu-Merc-Jupiter I guess. > With Best Wishes, > Sanjay Rath Your elder brother was born in Rahu-Mercury-Venus-Sun and you were born in Rahu-Mercury-Jupiter-Mercury (using 360-deg years). AD, PD and SD lords are connected with 5th house in both cases. Both were born on Wednesday. Your elder brother has Sun and Venus in lagna and you have Jupiter. If I find the sum of AD, PD and SD lord dasa years like in your brother's case, I get 17+16+17=50, i.e. 20. You were born on the 20th/21st day from Karkataka Sankranthi. However, this rule does not always seem to work. Please throw more light on this important topic. I always wondered about how we time various aspects of an event - weekday, tithi, solar day, hora, lagna etc. Best regards, Narasimha --------------------- Narasimha P.V.R.
