Pranam Guruji,

 

I am attempting my first lesson.

 

Question. Try to define the role of God in your life ?

 

Answer : God has given me this life for a specific reason.

The role of God in my life is to make sure that I repay the debts of

past Karma, and eventually strive to attain Moksha by doing my Dharma.

 

Question. What have you done in the past year to come closer to god ?

 

Answer : Punishment of the lord. That makes a person humble and

opens his eyes to a whole new vision and approach of life which makes

one god fearing and makes one beleive in god.

 

Question : which is more relevant a) God is All or b) All is God ?

 

Answer : Both statements go hand in hand. One cannot exist without

the other. God is All - means that God is everyone and everything.

All is God - means that Everyone and everything is God.

 

Quesiton : how is jyotish different from a priest ?

 

Answer : The role of jyotish is to guide based on his knowledge of

jyotish to find out the reason why a person is born, and help him

guide to surrender to god, and to guide him out of the world of

maya. A priest shows the guiding principles which are more general

and applicable to all. A jyotish studies more into every persons

(individuals) chart (no 2 persons are born for the same reasons) to

find out why a person has been reborn, and to guide him to wash away

his past sins of past karmas and to help him in the right direction

so that the person can attain Moksha. A jyotish also has the

responsibility to spread the knowledge of this light (jyo tish).
