Parijata Yoga

Dear Frank,

 

Note 4 planets:

 

(1) Lagna lord

(2) Paka lagna lord (lagna lord's dispositor)

(3) Lord of the rasi occupied by the planet in (2)

(4) Lord of the navamsa occupied by the planet in (2)

 

If ALL the four planets are in own/exaltation signs or

quadrants/trines, then Parijata/Kalpadruma yoga is present. Dr. Raman

teaches it as any one planet out of the four, but Parasara taught it

as all the four. I taught the same.

 

Suppose someone has Aq lagna, Saturn in Libra, Venus in Pisces with

Leo navamsa. Then lagna lord is Saturn, his dispositor is Venus, his

rasi lord is Jupiter and navamsa lord is Sun. If Saturn, Venus,

Jupiter and Sun are in in own/exaltation sign or quadrant/trine, then

the yoga is present.

The definition of this ius a bit unclear:

1. the depostor of the Asc Lord - is that the lord of the Paka Lagna?

2. THe depostor is then in exaltation or quadrant or trine to the Asc - noe is that to the Paka Langa or the birth Asc?

3. Is this Yoga benefical? what of it's influence... obviosuely to the self, heath, face. Also , looking at the the Karaka ofthe Asc (Surya) must also be considered.
