Guest guest
Om Gurave Namaha Pranam, ... quoting a message of Frank in Austin to Varahamihira (AT) (DOT) Com ... Thank you for your message. FiA> I have noticed that many questions go unanswered as I view and write to FiA> the list regularly. Over time this minimizes one's effort and focus, FiA> knowing that some questions may or may not be answered I think it's all right because a Guru should not answer all questions of a shishya. Sometimes a shishya is not ready to digest Knowledge, sometimes shishya looks aside and therefore answers on his questions will lead aside from Knowledge. FiA> We also at times say we are busy with limited time.... yes I FiA> understand that and appreciate this constraint. Yet we are all busy, FiA> the universe is busy! You are right, but Guru's time is invaluable and so Guru should not waste it. (For instance, a Guru can narrate dozens of times knowledge to shishyas but he can write a book and then thousands of shishyas will get knowledge.) FiA> I other words, teach the sisya to fish, and avoid just giving them a FiA> fish when they are hungry. You are right but sometimes a shishya " likes a fish more than wants to fish " ... I am ashamed to admit that I'm often busy and sometimes too lazy and would like to get all provided. So the cause is in shishya, not in Guru.
