Your are correct in analysing the Upapada, but this should have been analysed more closely to show whether she'll be married or not. Parasara and Jaimini give the necessary dictums.

When theres a delay in marrying, look to the 7th from Venus + Lord, Darakaraka & Kalatra karaka. At present the girl is 26, which isn't a big deal in the west, but lets proceed.

 

 

7th house is lorded by Sun in both Rasi and Navamsa; the Darakaraka, this causes Karaka Bhava Nasa on the 7th house, and no doubt she'll be without men, for longer periods of time, due to past efforts and learning experiences. Such people tend to be very picky about their aquantences. She also considers whether she should marry or not.

 

Kalatra Karaka; Venus is in Own sign, but has been visited by Ganesh. Ganesh would rather not be disturbed during his tapasya, so marriage may not be a concern of his, but due to a curse, he will indeed marry. As a result he will further dharma through mariage. But could cause a delay.

 

Ketu is the Stronger 7th lord from Venus, which should be worshipped to give a spouse, however Ketu promotes celibacy among other things. Ketu is in Sani-Amsa(joined with Sani in Navamsa), in the 2nd house, and removes her sexual-drive completely.

 

Mars the other lord of the 7th from Venus, is in the 12th house in Navamsa joined with Moon. Skanda could be worshipped, but as Ketu & Mars also lord the Upapada in Rasi, its clear that the marriage would end if Skanda is approached.

 

So we have two choices;

a) Marriage, however ending untimely.

b) Marriage, but strict celibacy kept, and Spouse is avoided(Al in 12th from UL in Rasi).

 

Mars seems to dominate the effects in navamsa, so she'll marry twice, 2nd marriage being succesful.

 

Timing:

Rahu(Lagna Lord) occupies Upapada giving a spontaneous decission to marry. However Rahu is in 8th in Navamsa, so in such a case the marriage will be very short.

 

Keeping in mind theres a delay due to Ketu i've come to the following:

 

The Next Antar Dasa of Jupiter could do it, in the PratyAntar Dasa of Mercury.

 

This coincides with the Su-Dasa of Libra-Leo, i.e. 2nd Quarter 2003.

Dear Visti,

Thanks for ur brilliant analysis. She requested me to look her chart.

I noted down your analysis for my future study.

One more question, How to find whether the Bride groom is Hindu or

not. Actually she is a hindu, born and brought up in canada.

 

My analysis is goes like this:

I am looking the 12th house from Chara DK. And checked whether it is

aspected by Rahu or not. Found that, Jupiter is aspecting 12th house

from DK in D9. Hence he will not be a westerner.

 

 

Regarding first marriage: What will be the reason for the failure of

first marriage?

 

How to time the second marriage?

ZORAN: The marriage is certain inspite of afflictions.

Venus is in own sign in both rashi and navamsa. Furthur, venus is in yuti

with sun, 7th lord in navamsa, which indicates brilliant and nice looking

husband, shining in his field.

as you indicated. To protect marriage, she should fast on tuesdays. Also

do note Dharmakarmaadhipati yoga of Venus and Ketu making her very chaste.

Mars in lagna could give her impatience and willingness to have her own

way, which may bring her into mistakes..

guru enters kanya and lends his aspect on the second of Upapada.

Surya should transit watery rashis, while venus should be found over earthy

sign. In this way, she would nulify the evils.
