Hari hi Aum

Dear Guruji,

Here are my attempts in answering questions associated with lesson #1.

1.Try to define God in your life.

Everything to me is god. He/she is full of mercy, granting me what I

seek, forgiving whatever sins i commit.

He / she is full of love, nurturing / nurtured me and everyone around

me thus far and I believe will nurture me and everything henceforth.

If i think of god in terms of actions, all the good selfless deeds

that i have been benefited from and have done. All the lessons that

I /everyone learn from what I/ everyone perceive as unpleasant /

pleasant.

2.What have you done in the past one year to come closer to God?

Attempting to be good, trying not to hate any one, helping others,

trying not expect anything in return for what i do. Loving everyone,

trying to cut down my desire for want of things. All these have been

trials and attempts only. I have not been very successful with them

all the time.

3.which is more relevant god is all or all is god.

I think they both are relevant. Either ways I understand that god is

everything, and there exists nothing that is not god.

4.how is the role of a jyotish different from a priest.

A priest (in Hindu religion) seeks god's grace on behalf of some

one

else, by praising god.

A jyotish looks into the person's birth-chart and tells the person,

what all (s)he can do to realize god.

Seeking your blessings and grace,

Karthik
