Please accept my attempt at the Atmakaraka Lesson, question 1.

The Atmakaraka is Saturn, who is retrogade in the 11th house.

A retrogade Atmakaraka makes the Souls desire very restricted to a certain area of life, and very determined.

The 11th house is the 4th from the 8th indicating; Knowledge of karmic debts, and knowledge of occult.

 

11th also indicates friends, social life, gains, etc.

 

Saturn as Atmakaraka indicates that the person must suffer alot of sorrow in life, but not give it away to others.

Saturn gives Graha Dristi on the Lagna as does Mars. This indicates a Curse. The Lagna has Jupiter indicating the curse of a Brahmin. The reason must be saught in Shastyamsa.

 

Mars lords 9th house in Rasi, showing that the anger is from a Guru, Father, or similar guides.

 

Saturn lords 11th and 12th indicating the area of suffering indicates by the curse.. Moon is in 12th, showing an enourmous sorrow/depression afflicted unto the person.

 

This chart also has 9th lord in Badhak Sthana.. This indicates the forgetting of worshipping a deity in the past life.. This is worth noting.

 

The best remedy for Sorrow is; Hare Krishna. The best mantra for removing a curse is; Kleem Krishna Kleem.. i'll make a note of too.

In Navamsa Atmakaraka again falls in 11th. Lagnamsa is in 3rd from Karakamsa, as Mars is joined with Rahu. This indicates terrible fights that the person must endure.. Hanuman should be worshipped, for the person to gain this objective, fully.

 

The 12th from Karakamsa is Leo, containing Mercury. Mercury is in the 2nd Drekkana indicating Sri Krishna. The best mantra for this person is; "Kleem Krishna Kleem" 10 Lakh times. This will remove all obstacles, and give happiness.

 

Mercury is Chara Gnati Karaka, and signifies cousins, uncles and other relatives, that must be kept happy to show the path Istha Devata.
