Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah! Q: Determine the Istadevata. Explain the reason behind his great work Savitri (Savitur) and the interpretation of the Rig Veda. ISTADEVATA Mercury is the Atmakaraka. Libra is empty. Venus is in Gemini, under no aspects, showing Lakshmi in particular. Gemini is owned by Mercury/Vishnu, and Lakshmi is his shakti. As the Atmakaraka is Mercury, the soul's karma involves writing, as Mercury is in the 2nd from lagna, and in the 6th from D-10 lagna in Jupiterian sign. Venus is the Pitrikaraka, and owns the 10th house from Navamsa lagna, showing that the way to God comes through his father or some elder. The houses owned by yogakaraka Venus are the 10th and 5th, showing the rich and powerful English government. Venus placed in the 6th show them to be his enemy, and that he would have to suffer terrible hardships and persecutions in order to realize God. The Pitrikaraka is an elder government official who condemned him, and as a result it was the government's jailing of him that brought him to God. The 6th from Amatyakaraka is Aries with exalted Sun showing Shiva, or the Sun God, and Savitri will protect the present life. Bratrikarak is Jupiter, who is exalted showing Sadashiva, but there is an exchange between the Moon, showing the Divine mother instead. As the Bratrikaraka is Jupiter, a universal form of the Divine mother is indicated. Bratrikaraka is in the ascendant, in exchange with the lagna lord, showing that he became his own Guru. It was during the dasa of this Moon that he became spiritually enlightened through his own discipline. SPIRITUAL NATURE AND TALENTS He is a great spiritual saint who meditated all of the time as the AK is in the second from Lagna. With exalted Jupiter in the 3rd from AL he is very spiritual. Debilitated Mars therefrom shows rejection of material life. Rahu in AL shows his many false accusations against him, and difficulties in life. Navamsa ascendant is Capricorn. Neechanbhanga Jupiter in lagna, with Moon in 5th shows his phenomenal writing talents, for which he is famous. Jupiter in the lagnamsa makes him a great spiritualist, well versed in religious doctrines and practices. Capricorn shows his hard work, interest in politics and questioning attitude. Rahu in the 5th makes him a government agitator. Atmakaraka in the 11th shows his success in his many battles with the government and in politics, and his ability to work hard and consistently. RIG VEDA and SAVITRI Jupiter rules the Rig Veda according to Saravali. As such, with Juptier exalted in Lagna, in Navamsa lagna and causing the pravrajya yoga in the 3rd from AL, how could he not delve deep into the Veda, and become known for it? Jupiter forms a powerful lakshmi yoga, as it exchanges with the first lord Moon, and a DharmaKarmadhipati yoga with neechabhanga Mars giving him fame as a result due to his spiritual writings on the Vedas. In D-10 Jupiter rises with Istadevata Venus, showing his Karma will be related to the Vedas, and poetry about spiritual subjects, as in his " Savitri " . Exalted and own sign Sun, shows the blessings of Palana Karta Shiva, which came out in his poem Savitri, indicated by Sun in Leo in the 2nd house, with Venus and Mercury in D-1. Also his writings are indicated by Mercury in Pisces in the 6th house arthatrikona. Kind regards, Alex J
