Question: AK is malefic Saturn - High level of spiritual development (Could you please explain How and why? What benefit a spiritually evolved soul sees in choosing a malefic as its AK?

 

My thoughts on this:

A Malefic for those disposed to spirituality; the malefic destroys the worldly side of self ( small 's') and allows the aspirant to concentrate on the higher Self ( large 'S').. or the destruction of the relative duplicity, to focus on the Absolute Unity.

Destruction is not all bad e.g. destroying sin, sloth, etc. Siva ( Absolute Silence) is also associated with

Destruction and plays a key role in creation. Creation, maintence and destruction ( Creation of the individal Brahma [first house], maintence, Vishnu [2nd house of sustanence] and 7th house [ opposite creation] must therefore be Rudra or destruction,which allows creation to happen again.

 

Also Neecha Graha's are also attractive to spiritual life.... more on this if requested.
