Guest guest Posted October 1, 2001 Report Share Posted October 1, 2001 -OM SRI GURAVE NAMAH-----------------Respected Gurudev,As a new disciple, i was studying old files of our group.An article immediately caught my attention.It was on diabetes,the dreaded disease from which i have been suffering.Naturally,it caught my attention when i came to know that by sincerely following remedial measures the disease can be kept under check. i am writing this letter for two purposes- 1.To seek your kind guidance for understanding the combination of diabetes. 2.To seek your advice about the remedial measure.At the begining , let me request you to inturrupt me whenever you feel it necessary for correction, comment, and advice.Please.Diabetes is a disturbance of glucose metabolism in the body.Due to this disturbance, glucose can not be utilised , resulting in accumulation of glucose in the body.Insulin , a hormone secreted by pancreas , is necessary for utilisation (metabolism) of glucose. Liver metabolises glucose.In diabetes , either there is deficient production of insulin , or there is insulin resistance . Though pancreas and liver are mainly involved in diabetes, other tissues like, fat tissue and muscles are also involved in glucose metabolism. And insulin is necessary not only in glucose metabolism , but also in fat and protein metabolism, but all contribute to hyperglycaemia (high glucose level).So , our main focus should be on pancreas and liver.Astrological Fundamental (as i understand from the file on health problem) 1.Focus should be on Pancreas and Liver .Both of which are situated in upper part of abdomen.So, they are in the 5th house of natural zodiac.Can i conclude that 5th lord and 5th house should have affliction to manifest diabetes? 2.Liver and pancreas are signified by jupiter.So, should there be affliction to Jupiter? 3.The region around umbilicus(Navel) is Virgo.A part of Pancreas is situated there.Virgo should have affliction to produce diabetes. Am i right? 4.There is a combination in Prasna Marga, that " if malefics aspect Lagna and the lord of Lagna is debilitated or in the sign of enemy, and Venus occupies or aspects the 8th, the person suffers from Diabetes." [stanza64, XII Ch. Part 1] The condition is, that , there should be affliction of Lagna, Lagna-lord, and occupation of Venus in 8th house ,or aspect of Venus to the 8th house. 5.Venus is the significator of endocrine glands . Insulin is a secretion of an endocrine glandular part of Pancreas . So, its affliction, or association to the 8th house --the house of chronic diseases ,( and diabetes is a chronic disease) should come into the play of producing diabetes. So, Venus has gained double significance. Principle4,:Lagna- lord Venus is afflicted by ketu in 8th house . 5 Principle5.:Same as above. REMEDIAL MEASURE----- The disease producing Planets here i.e., Venus and Jupiter are strong , but they are afflicted by some other planets.As the afflicted Planets are strong, would it be the right thing to propitiate affliction giving planets i.e. ketu and mars ,by worshiping there Adhi-Devata? It suffers affliction from Rahu & sun in Navamsa. Use yellow sapphire and green emerald combination in gold.
