What Mr.Vishy is talking about is the current lesson, which was named by Gurudeva as Compulsory lesson. Because, many of us were not answering lessons. But, you can start from lesson 1. There is no order. As per Gurudeva, here teaching is informal. So, it is upto you to select the order of lessons.

Dear VishwanathanI have also just become a member coupla days back. Today was the firstThursday since then, for initiation. I have no Guru allotted yet.I am a bit confused: I wanted to today, start the assignments from lesson 1onwards, as from the files section in varahamihira. But u r saying thereare some OTHER/ compulsory lessons/ assignments before/ after/ between thevarious lessons. Where are the instructions for all that, & where are theselocated?Please don't ask me to go thru the entire archives of varahamihira to findthese. I spent the better part of the last 2 years archive-worming theentire vedic astrology List & making exhaustive notes from dozens of books,classics & the archives there.
